Iowa Community Center — Local services in Villa Park

We absolutely love the staff at the Iowa Community Center. All of the teachers and caregivers at the Funtime Junction Daycare are the best. There is nothing more important in the world than your children and it's hard to find people you trust to watch them if you are a working parent. We have entrusted our 2 children to the staff here and would recommend this daycare to anyone. They are so attentive, caring, gentle and kind... you can tell they love their job. The facility itself isn't much to brag about, but it is very clean and the staff is invaluable. They are constantly changing activities throughout the day and keeping the kids engaged in learning and playing. Like all businesses right now, the Covid virus has limited the hours and availability of the daycare and it has made it more challenging for things to operate as normal. But it's no one's fault and we look forward to using their services again...

Community center has day care and other activities. Small garden. 2 planters, not sure who gets to use them. Skate park, play ground, athletic field, 4 paseball diamonds, batting cage. Jefferson pool adjacent. Jefferson Middle School adjacent. Ample parking. Pool lot shaded. Very nice park. Not as well maintained as Twin lake's park,...

This is a nice, run of the mill, community center. I come here to play pickleball with a group and it's nice. But I do wish the floors were cleaner so we don't keep slipping and falling. And recently I came to the outdoor playground for my kids. That's decent too. Just that once in awhile, the Metra train is loud that rolls...
