Los Burritos Mexicanos — Restaurant in Lombard

I found Los Burritos on door dash and placed my order for pick up. I wasn't sure what to expect since I never been there, but upon arriving they were very busy so I was thinking either this place is very good or it's just lunch rush time. It definitely was just lunch time rush!

Some positives - They do have their own private parking lot which is convenient. They do have hand sanitizer available if needed. Their salsa and horchata was good!

They have a large clear divider between the customers and the cashiers/cooks. On the divider for lines, the left side says place order here and then the right side says pick up here, but I guess it doesn't really matter? People were standing everywhere. Since my order was for pick-up I waited on the right side, but that didn't really matter. After waiting about 5 minutes, I was able to tell them I was there for pickup and my food was ready. The to-go bag did have salsa, but no napkins. The food is not authentic, again this is just based on my personal experience and opinion. The steak for the taco was very dry and had no flavor. The nachos had ground beef instead of steak. I also put on the order no beans, but there was beans.

I recommend to try them for your own experience. Maybe this just was a one off for me and if you like ground beef on your...

I have been going here since the mid 90's and I usually loved the food. Several months ago I was there and the girl at the counter did not enter my order properly. I was fine with that because we are all human beings and make mistakes.

The problem is that I will never go back here and probably nobody that was in there at the time will ever either.

She forgot to put 2 quesadillas on the order and I had already paid. Ok that's fine so far so I handed her my card (remember how long I have been going there) and she charged me over $14.00 for 2! I asked her about 10 times if she could fix it and she got angry with me! Nobody (it was crowded) could even believe that she did that! I was there with my teenage son and I ended up just leaving because I didn't want to sit there and argue in front of my son and all of those people!

I have realistically probably eaten there a few thousand times before this and I will literally never go back.

I just saw my original 5 star praising review is why I waited so long to change it.

Only reason I put one star is because you can't put zero. I have lived in this area my entire life and have frequented both los burritos Mexicano's in villa park and Lombard since high school. My family and I order tacos at least twice a week from them and EVERY SINGLE TIME they screw up the order. I let it go the first few times but it started to get old. So today I decided to give them one more chance, and they did not disappoint(insert sarcasm here). Every time I order its simple, 6 tacos and a medium rice, not hard right? Today they shorted me one taco. So I called to explain what had happened and the lady, whom I had just seen in person at the restaurant answered the phone and immediately started to berate me because she swears her cook put the right amount of tacos in the bag, which was not true.
