Erika and Florence are truly the best! I was a covid bride who purchased my dress in 2019 but did not get married until 2021.

Erika was great from my very first visit to Be Unique Boutique. I had already tried on so many dresses at several stores and she was a place my sister in law found on a whim, while searching for Martina Liana vendors. I actually went by myself and said yes to the dress :) Erika was patient with me and was able to immediately hone in on the type of dress I liked. She had many options that were more in line with my vision, which made it easy to pick the dress I loved most.

When my wedding was postponed, Erika was great to keep my dress on-site for a whole year and kept in close contact with me to begin scheduling fittings as we got close to the 2021 wedding date.

I met with Florence in early 2021 during the fittings, and she is a true master at her craft! In each of my fittings, Erika and Florence were supportive, informative and really fun to work with. Each time at the boutique was bubbly, fun and intimate. Despite how busy they are, each fitting was usually just me and whoever I brought in with me, and I never felt rushed - they truly made me feel like they were open just for me :)

The dress I wore, while stunning, was also challenging but Florence and Erika were again patient with me while I figured out the best way to bustle, and to see other options. Even through the end, they were such perfectionists that I had 3 "final" fittings, until the dress was as perfect as they wanted it to be.

Florence does all the alterations and she puts 100% effort and care in each dress she works on. One time she was not pleased with how it looked, even though I only saw beauty - she wanted to make sure it met her standard which was over the top in the most positive way. At the very last fitting, a button needed to be moved and she was able to change it right on the spot, again to make the dress and bustle absolute perfection.

You are in the absolute best hands with Erika and Florence. They will make you feel like you are the only bride they are dressing, and they will work endlessly to ensure your dress is more perfect than you can even imagine. Their care and dedication is truly unmatched, and I would recommend any bride to put their full trust in the hands of these amazing women.

The Deets: This was NOT the first bridal shop I went to. I wanted to begin with the biggest selection possible so I decided to go to a larger shop up North…I should have just gone to Erika and Be Unique from the start! The larger store had uninterested stylists who pulled dress after dress without much consideration (or so it seemed). I left that shop feeling dejected.

Growing up in Mt. Kisco I always told myself that I would one day shop at BUB for my wedding gown. I remember staring at their beautiful displays every time I walked to town or drove by on my way home. Erika has impeccable taste and a BEAUTIFUL selection of gowns, each carefully curated to suit a number of styles and budgets. She will listen to your vision and thoughtfully pull from her selection with your words in mind.

Erika pulled several dresses for me that were already miles ahead of my prior experience in terms of fitting my vision. I ultimately chose a gown by Kitty Chen called Petra that was perfectly within my budget. Erika pulled some accessories to help finish the look and I fell in love with every piece she added! Her taste and eye for pulling a look together are just spot on.

I also had my gown tailored by the BUB seamstress. She did a fantastic job, taking her time to ensure I felt comfortable with the fit and explaining any limitations. She also explained the function of each layer of my skirt, letting me know how certain things would be tailored and ensuring I was comfortable with cutting this or how that might be altered to fit best.

Overall the whole experience, from trying on to tailoring to accessories, was reassuring and calming. I felt perfect in my gown and was so confident in the choices we made. Thank you, Erika, for a wonderful experience!
