Today I had a very disappointing experience at Walgreens. I came in to deposit cash for Chime, and the cashier, Deb (an older woman), made the situation uncomfortable from the start. As soon as she saw I was making a deposit, she rolled her eyes and started huffing and puffing. She then began complaining out loud, saying there are “500 banks in Vincennes” and that it’s “ridiculous” for people to come to Walgreens for banking.
On top of that, she continued to complain about other customers as they walked through the cashier line aisle, saying we need “bigger arrows” because she didn’t understand why people were walking through there.
The whole interaction made me feel like I was a nuisance just for being there. I’ve always thought of Walgreens as a convenient and welcoming place, but this experience was very frustrating and left me with a...
Read moreHad the worst experience ever at a Walgreens. 710 N St Joseph Ave Evansville, IN 47712 United States The cashier was rude and impatient because the register was taking a long time to process because I had digital coupons attached. She slapped the receipt printer in hopes it would hurry up. (It didn’t). She opened up the printer and found it was low on register tape so she put in a new roll but put it in backwards so when it did finally print it didn’t show up. (Thermal printers will only print on the correct side). So I didn’t get a receipt. I told her I needed a receipt and the rest is a long unpleasant story! I told her just to refund me and was informed by her and the shift supervisor that was not possible because I didn’t have a receipt. Totally incompetent!!! Walgreens you need to...
Read moreWould give 0 stars if possible. My daughter went here to get a prescription filled. They said they do not take our insurance then refused to let us pay cash. Talked to someone who claimed to be the pharmacy manager. Said if they did that Walgreens would be fined and my daughter would lose her insurance. A COMPLETE LIE. Checked online and they can’t refuse to sell us the prescription. From a legal website. “Pharmacies are required to ensure patient safety and provide medications according to valid prescriptions, as mandated by federal and state laws.” This was for an antibiotic. Guessing they refused to fill because the reimbursement rate is less for cash customers than those with insurance. Stay away from this unethical pharmacy by any...
