I love Rainbow shop. The locations are what makes them different--well that and their difference in styles as well..my favorite is the Bridgeton Rainbow on Pearl Street where a fantastic store manager -Veronica -always has the store looking great, her employees are attentive and RESPECTFUL, and you NEVER walk around looking puzzled bc you either are already engaged in a conversation with everyone there or someone is friendly enuff to help you before you even have to ask. Its a great atmosphere and I can honestly say from shopping there as much as 3 times a week after work, I felt like the staff at Rainbow in Bridgeton was almost like family to me. And that's how it should feel. Not going there and hearing employees talk about their personal relationships while walking around the store on their personal phone using foul language at a high volume while the manager is up to her neck in ringing out customers at the register or not paying attention at all engaged in their own conversations themselves. Lol. I guess it happens alot in a lot of places and its not like the atmosphere is the same as the Loft store BUT regardless, its still an establishment that's open for business with its rules, regulations that need to be followed. I can honestly say a few years back a new manager came to a Vineland location and picked up the speed of cleanliness, apparel out on floor, employee behavior and you could definitely tell there was a new sheriff in town. She was getting ish done and shutting ish down- pretty much. Rainbows clothes are exactly what you are paying for. It's a junior type store but has some apparel for women of all ages..me being in my 40s myself. Every season a new wardrobe is out and then come the markdowns where you can find 1 to 3 dollar items on the racks. And I'm talking, 25 dollar sweaters that turn into 3 dollar sweaters. Seriously. You have to look around. And it varies by location. Vineland park Ave is more dressy, clubby, night out type wear and Bridgeton is more street-school-hanging out-sporty type wear. Also some dressy as well. But you get my point. The mall Rainbow has the FULL effect of all the surrounding locations in one entire store. You gotta check that one...
Read moreThe store was dirty and smells nasty. The employees are rude and ignorant to their paying customers. I was told to wear a mask and I said to the employee I am vaccinated and she said it doesn't matter. So I exited the store and Rainbow didn't get my business or money. So if you don't have a mask you better not even enter the store or else you will get reprimanded and told to leave. I wasn't the only customer not wearing a mask so was another customer and she wasn't even told she needs a mask. So Rainbow just...
