Food Lion — Local services in Vinton

This is the most convenient Food Lion for where I live so I visit it quite frequently. I only have two complaints, one of which was immediately addressed by the store. The first however is the layout of the store. They have the cheeses, milks, and ice cream on one side of the store but if you need anything else frozen it is on the complete opposite side of the store which is annoying, especially if you don't want your items melting/thawing. The second complaint that was address while in the store was that they had put out blueberries with mold on them. If I hadn't checked the container like I did I may have fed those to my family. The company did however remove all of the bad blueberries (which was every container they had) and gave me a rain check for the item, I just wish they had checked them before putting them on the shelves. Overall I am still very happy with this store and will continue...

Recently went in for a few things and while I was shopping I surprised to find 3 ladies talking loudly bad talking a "new girl" (in her words..) employmee of their team. I would think that for customers to hear this wouldn't be so ideal for business. Or that ANYBODY WOULD TALK BADLY ABOUT NEW HIRE PERIOD...We have all been the newbie... & that's exactly the problem..stop hating everyone for no reason....Holding grudges will keep you from flying. Usually it's best for all to advise the NEWbie their job responsibly/describsion correctly w respect.. And I think I speak for quite a few professionals, that.... TEAM WORK MAKES THE...

Extremely impressed with Food Lions curbside grocery pick up. The employee shopping for my groceries text me to verify if I need to to change or add anything. Then text me that it was ready. I was able to pickup several hours before my reserved time slot. After arriving I only had to wait 2-3 minutes before my groceries were delivered to my vehicle. And the young man that brought them out was extremely polite. My 7 year old even said wow mom he was very nice. This was a much better experience then I have ever had with Walmart or Kroger’s. I’ll never shop for groceries anywhere else. Thank you for your excellent...
