I recently visited HCK Hot Chicken and had an incredible experience. The food was top-notch, and I left completely satisfied.

First, the Sandwich Combo was absolutely delicious. The fried chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of heat. I highly recommend adding the Angry Hot Sauce to your sandwich—it adds the perfect fiery kick that takes the flavor to the next level without overpowering the other ingredients. The sandwich comes with a side, and I opted for the fries, which were crispy and flavorful.

The Country Style Chicken Salad with Ranch Dressing was another standout. It’s fresh, hearty, and packed with flavor. The tender chicken paired with the creamy ranch dressing made for the perfect balance of textures. If you're looking for something lighter but still satisfying, this is the dish to go for!

And let’s talk about the Loaded Mac n Cheese Bowl comfort food at its finest! The mac and cheese was rich, creamy, and the perfect base for the generous toppings.

These buffalo chicken sandwiches are the best you’ll find within the valley of the Roanoke/Salem/Vinton radius! If you’re a spicy connoisseur (such as myself) then this is the place for you!

I tried their new limited time Jamaican Jerk flavored sandwich, and it provided the perfect amount of heat to sweet level. The chicken filets are huge, juicy and crispy, and the food is made fresh every time! For a quality buffalo chicken sandwich and crispy seasoned crinkle fries, I find it hard that you’ll find something significantly better than what you pay for the two here within the valley. Even the manager is extremely helpful and personable which makes for a complete quality experience!

I hope that this place stays in business, or worst case scenario - moves to an actual attractive area inner city for more appeal and traction.

P.S. This place could use a Spicy Chicken Challenge of some sort. Especially given that no one else is doing something like this in the area, that could be fun and innovative. Cause that Medic flavor ain’t...

i cannot describe how good the food is. the cashier was extremely friendly and personable, as well! i have medical issues preventing me from eating spicy things, and the non-spicy options are still just as good. the good sauce is fantastic! it is mayonnaise based, so i put some on the chicken sandwich. absolutely amazing. the fries are so good. theyre crinkle cut and seasoned perfectly; a lot of places overuse their seasoning and it doesnt taste great to me. dipping them in the good sauce was so good. my friend got boneless wings. oh my god, they were so big. there was probably three or four chicken sandwiches worth of chicken with the boneless wings. my friend and fiancé both got tenders, and they were bigger than the chicken in the chicken sandwich! the chicken on the sandwich is still huge, as well. its on potato bread buns; those are my favorite kinds of bread items. the only bad thing that happened was that the chicken was too hot to eat immediately!!!! this place is so insanely good!!!!! if youre thinking about going,...
