The front desk had an attitude with me. As someone who has provided much more professional customer service for 5 years, there’s a clear difference in tone between saying to someone “Who are you? I don’t know you” and asking someone “Are you a new or returning customer?” This does not leave a good impression at all, and certainly leaves a lasting impression.
My family has only had a unit here for 10 years. I understand I’m new to coming to the complex and the staff did not recognize me. However, I don’t understand the clearly out-dated attitude I received initially from the front desk. It wasn’t very helpful or conducive to the conversation when I called back to clear things up, the same staff member immediately said “Okay, listen..” as if I wasn’t willing to hear her out in the first place, or as if I approached the conversation with any other attitude besides politeness. It didn’t help that another customer had to leave their two cents with the staff, making the situation even more complicated. I love being able to have a storage unit that is convenient for my family. It is very inconvenient to have to have this conversation with the staff in the first place. This isn’t even the first time a family member of mine has had a similar experience with the same staff member at the front desk. There’s a pattern that must be addressed, even if would want to continue to use this...
