They do fix most problems. They might ruin other stuff. Car was taken for other issue. It had a leak the oil sensor worked for I put oil just before taking it. After got it back. The car heated and it was that it had no oil. But nothing telling me so. They said they didnt ruin the oil sensor. It costed me 2000 to fix what ruin after it heated. I put little oil every once in a while. But after taken it for other issue ( fixed) I had to almost do an overhall but no that it needed it but they provoked it. I had to take it again for other issue and pointed the sensor is new don't ruin it as before. And once again it is not measuring oil level after taking it to them. Read moreI took my car in because it was overheating every once in a while. They replaced a bunch of stuff that they said I "had to have" and charged me an exorbitant fee. After I left, it began to overheat everyday. I took it back and they replaced what they thought was the problem. $2200 later, it overheated 10 minutes after I left the parking lot. When I went back, they made me feel like I was an idiot. (Maybe because I am a female?)

Read moreI was turned down by a couple of shops for a transmission service, yes the car has a special transmission (VW, DSG tranny) but I assumed it wouldnt be a big deal. Boy was I wrong. Going to German Automotive slightly discouraged from other shops was such an eye opener. Santiago and his guys know these cars, and also know their business. They finished the car sooner than expected and I'm back on the road with the confidence of having a new car. I hope to keep this car on the road for a long time and I will continue going to Visalia German Automotive for my services and everything my car may need....
