Harbor Freight — Local services in Vista

Harbor Freight is a good resource for inexpensive tools....but this particular store needs to do a better job at customer service. However, the metal in their large branch cutters is junk..went through 3 pairs before finally giving up...none of lasted more than 15 minutes cutting branches less than half the width they were intended for.

Bu worse of all...I was moved from one check out to another with only 2 items so the original guy could return to shelf stocking. Then, when it was my turn to be checked out, an irate woman walks in to the store and heads straight to my cashier with a complaint in not having received one of their "freebies" and the sale price on one item. Rather then taking care of me first and some one else who was also waiting...she took the irate customer and started to address the complaining lady who had just walked in and went up to the front of the line. The management need to train their people better...the woman was very aggressive and demanding...which likely flustered the young cashier. If I didn't need the tools immediately...Inwouldbhave dropped...

The last few times that i have been into this store (Vista Ca)have been my last. I used to love going to this store for my tool needs but something has changed since there has been a new store manager. The employees look absolutely sad and miserable, they dont seem to be treated properly by the man who seems to be in charge. I witnessed this man yelling and talking down to his empolyees infront of customers while he was constantly on the phone with what seemed to be his significant other. When he was asked a question by either an employee or customer, they were brushed off like nothing. I witnessed this man go out on multiple occassions to have a cigarrette break outside the front doors, not exactly a good impression for the store. This man is light skinned, he has dusty brown hair, i tried to ask his first and last name from an employee but all they would tell me is the name Curtis. I am not sure if that is a first or last but he is bad for...

I went to Harbor Freight to get two items and walked out buying six I'm a clearance shelf-sniper (pro shopper) and I forgot Harbor Freight had a clearance shelf 😱 and I unknowingly walked past it and seen that 👀💫Impact driver✨ open box for half off💯 yeah baby 😇👍 So I had to my 420 pm chill spot To open up the new tools ..I thought ...when I opened up the "open box" impact driver ..my heart was broken and sank to the pit of my stomach 😱for there was no impact driver in it In it was another 20 volt power drill the same one I purchased a month ago so I have no use for it even at that reduced price 🤓 disappointed I drove back to Harbor Freight the manager Alex went out of his way again to satisfy the customer and gave me the same set brand new to replace what I thought I bought
