Most Southern California dispensaries are the same. It’s walking into a place I know so well while also having no idea what is on the walls. Unless you want to check up and read the back of every label to find the best brand for you, all you had to go buy are the prices of a Bag, colorful, packaging, and usually what somebody who is barely old enough to smoke can tell you. I’m a 21 year stoner so I need more information than how much THC is in it..thc is easy to grow into bud.. the hard part is maximizing the cannabinoids that help push the THC pass the blood brain barrier

my point is, is that when I first started going to off the charts, I noticed their staff was very educated on the must know basics. Not just sativa and Indica.. not just one makes you high and one makes you lower… the manager especially is encyclopedia of knowledge on different brands and strains. And giving her what I was looking for, she thought for a second, and then proceeded to show me three different buds. I had never heard of, with different price points, but would give me hints.. such as, don’t let the low price fool you on this one, it’s money. . The general knowledge of the staff has mostly been very good as well. They don’t seem like a place that will hire just anybody. The customer service helpers all seem to be starters themselves.(which is typical) however their knowledge, and how they are trained second to none. This place is really great for anybody, but especially if you were just trying to get into marijuana for the first time. You will run into a staff that is more understanding of your situation, and hopeful that you enjoy it and return rather than try to sell you expensive read you might not need the first time, or a dab set. If you are an experienced smoker, don’t be afraid or two prideful to ask for the manager and find some new stuff. When you have knowledge of certain brands, growing processing procedures, it gives you a leg up how to pick what you want because you know more about the weed. . I've been coming to Vista location for 3 years I was always bragging about this place and letting friends and family know about it. I enjoyed their delivery when it was around and most of all their selections and customer service. Lately Ive been going mornings. Security is always helpful in pulling my card out of atm for me cause I have long nails. Very polite man. Just like the other guards. Today tho was a bit different. I was getting to pay and I reminded cashier that I'm a return patient ,so he can give me my discount and he kept asking me for a coupon. I was confused, I've been told to tell cashier every time for a discount. If you don't tell them they won't grant it. So it's how I've been doing it, of course when I remember. Anywho, I was getting frustrated as he kept asking and anemployee interfered and told me on a higher and firm voice ma'am if you have a coupon we can give you a discount I asked her where do you send your coupons cause I no longer get the sale tex and I've never seen coupons. She said on weedmaps, uhm why would I go go weedmaps page if I'm coming directly to facility. I asked for the coupons again but she was more worried about telling me that shes the one who creates and is In charge of coupons and that theirs a code on the bottom of them. She told me all of this with the most disrespectful and sarcastic loud voice, everyone In shop heard her and she finished with ma'am thank you have a nice day. she was extremely disrespectful, unprofessional,like customer service was forced down her throat. It's bad enough having to go In every week, with my dog, me not feeling well, still go thru atm cenério, also have to worry about a coupon and now customer service. It's a whole production. Big TURN OFF for me!!! Thanks to another patient who heard what when on and offer his coupon to me. He was a sweet gentleman. Thank you. OTC, you have always been good to me. Five Stars – Highly Recommend!

Off the Charts is hands down one of my favorite dispensaries! From the moment you walk in, the vibe is welcoming and upbeat. Even when they’re busy (which they often are—because they’re that good!), the staff takes their time to make you feel heard and valued.

I was helped by my budtender, May—like the month—and she was incredible. She walked me through various THC and CBD dosing options, helping me understand the differences in milligrams and how they can affect each person differently. I came in with questions about why a product made my spouse feel a certain way, and May patiently broke it all down. She even recommended a pill form of CBD/THC that we’re excited to try, and I’ll definitely be back to update on that.

May’s product knowledge is top-tier, and I really appreciated how she made sure I understood the options without feeling rushed. My cashier, Ryan, was also awesome—super straightforward, friendly, and honest about discounts and pricing. Together, they made my experience smooth and enjoyable.

The layout is also convenient: when you enter, you check in through a hallway and have access to multiple ATMs (two outside and two inside), making cash access super easy. Inside, they have a fantastic selection—edibles, drinks, pre-rolls, loose leaf, accessories, and even a few bongs.

Everyone I’ve interacted with has been friendly and really knows their stuff. Even on hectic days, they bring a good vibe and are clearly passionate about what they do. I fly into town once a month, and this is always my go-to spot. If I could give more than five...
