The person quoted me a price for a screen repair that was more than the cost of the phone new. I told him this, and he still tried to sell me on the repair, explaining how the frame needed to be replaced along with the screen. I reiterated that the phone, brand new, right now, costs 100$ less than what he wanted to charge me. Further, I know the replacement parts only cost 20$ on Amazon right now. GIven that the repair should only take 30 minutes max, and the necesary parts can be bought for 20$ retail, why would they price the repair at 260$? I do understand the employee's don't set the prices and the store is not running on a barter system, but when I informed the employee that my phone cost less than the repair quote brand new I expected my phone to be handed back to me politely, not for the employee to continue to hold it while trying to make the sale. I suspect this place isn't used to dealing with informed customers, and tries their hardest to upsell and overcharge as a...
