Shipley Do-Nuts — Restaurant in Waco

4th time my order has been partially wrong. I called and spoke with a Cynthia that refused to give me any information about the manager of that store. They’ll call me back, doubt it! Today I ordered 2 egg, bacon, cheese kolaches, along with 2 sausage cheese, and 6 ham and cheese along with 1/2 dozen glazed doughnuts. Didn’t get the 2 egg, bacon, egg kolaches. Last time we got the wrong doughnuts, and before that missing items. ...

Gunna give 2 due to the good service and tidy display case. None for the actual donuts. Bought 2 jelly filled and quite frankly I couldn't even tell which one I ate. Raspberry and strawberry taste different. These both barely tasted like a donut let alone the filling did nothing to differentiate flavor. The glaze was sticky but did not taste like glaze. Highly disappointed and if I'm ever in Texas again. I'll find a different donut...

This location is similar if not identical to all Shipley's. Fast and consistent, which is really the only positive thing to say. All of their bakery items are intense sugar bombs, with all difference in flavor lost to the amount of sugar. Cherry tastes like maple, which tastes like chocolate, etc. Their coffee is also terrible, better at a Cefco, which isn't saying much. In a pubg for a heavy dose of sugar?...
