I always prefer to shop at the locally owned grocery store instead of the soul sucking experience that is Wal-Mart. This particular store shows it's age, but a new location is opening soon (the store is moving to the the other side of town). The staff are always great here and it's always familiar faces, not alot of turnover. I think that speaks volumes about a business.
No it doesn't have quite the selection of all the big box stores, but it's got everything you need. You will pay a little more for some things, but I think that it's worth it to support the local businesses when possible. The only negative I have found here and reason for the 4 stars vs 5 is that you do have to watch expiration/best by dates. I have found on multiple occasions when I have gotten home with something and it's already expired or will be in a matter of a couple days.
Overall though I like going here and will continue...

The weekly ad has a barcode that the cashier can scan that will automatically use any applicable any coupons, so no cutting out or individual scanning. Throughout the aisles they have little coupon holders in front of and for that particular item.
