Great cabinets, horrible customer service.

I purchased my home with all cabinets through this place, so when it came time to purchase built ins, this is where I wanted to go. I reached out to Derek, which is when the horrible experience began. I asked to see the cabinets and swing by the showroom, Derek left the samples there for me to see with NO scheduled appointment but rather a loose conversation of me going there, but I had something come up and reached back out at MY convenience, since I am the customer and should be able to reach out whenever is convenient for me, which was about a week or two later. I also did not think this was an issue since he was going to be on vacation and we never had a scheduled appointment anyway! I reached back out to place the order and see the cabinets and Derek REFUSED to sell me the cabinets saying that I should have made more time to go to the showroom!! Since when does a business dictate WHEN a customer purchases their items?! Especially since I had NO appointment with him and wanted to come at my leisure. I have left a message twice saying I had a bad experience and never received a call back. I have text messages of the whole conversation if they even want to see what transpired!

Gotta do better Atlantic, your customer service and Derek needs...

Absolutely wouldn't work with this company again. When we visited the showroom, we were asked if we intended to use "standard faucets" to which we said we were. Standard faucets to someone who is not a contractor or builder means it's just a regular faucet, nothing fancy. We had already bought widespread faucets and told the rep there we had as well. Fast forward to our countertops being installed, the holes were drilled for center set faucets, which I absolutely hate. Our builder let ACC know and the rep even said he remembered us talking about it, but he didn't write it down in out paperwork. The owner basically said "oh well, not my fault and if they want them redone they can pay for it." Yes, it may seem like a small mix-up but for me, it was huge. I had explicitly said many times that I despised center set faucets and now they are a permanent fixture in my home. Not to mention I had to go through the huge hassle of returning the ones we already had and settling for...

I had the pleasure of working with the folks here at Atlantic Coast Cabinets for a warranty service for my new home. At first I was skeptical as dealing with general companies and contractors alike hasn't all been pleasant, but with these guys I was pleasantly surprised. The gentleman who was called in to pulled our cabinets out came right on time, was courteous and did a phenomenal job pinpointing our issues and made sure to take care of our hardwoods and appliances as he worked.

After the issue was resolved, he promptly came back THE SAME DAY with a colleague to put everything back in order. These folks did quality work, showed exemplary customer service and finished the job quickly. Just a note I can't speak for installs or their selection so my comments are on their service calls only and in that regard this place...
