Emerald Door — Local services in Wamego

I recently moved to the area, decided to book a nail apt here after countless attempts to find the right nail tech in multiple areas failed. I met Mary. She is the sweetest young woman, and such an awesome tech! My nails were twice as long as pictured, I recently requested them to be trimmed down and with sheer muscle and determination and about 4 whole nail files later she delivered! I've recommended a nail drill is a must in our future! Haha She agreed. I often have zero idea as to what design I might want and usually leave it up to my nail techs, again she delivered! Simple designs but it's only my 2nd time visiting The Emerald Door...I can't wait to see what kinds of designs might pop up in the future!

I've also had my eye lashes done here! Sry I haven't brushed them since I had my car window down and they were catching some wind! Haha Shows how awesome they are! This was another service the Emerald Door had that was delightful and budget friendly! I've had the same services done in other states for double the price and not nearly as good quality! RaeLea was a phenomenal lash specialist! Knowledgeable, gentle with application, and super nice! The fact I was a blinker made no difference to her, very professional and great at her job!

I am one of those girls who always has a bad experience at salons but not this time. Shanna was my stylist and not only is she incredibly sweet, she listened to all of my concerns, my past hair history and scary experiences, did exactly what I wanted and then some, I left feeling confident that I can trust someone with my hair!!!! I have super long hair and most people chop away until they're satisfied, or tug and pull and destroy it with heat and lack of care and she didn't. Just amazing! I didn't have any makeup when I went in today and when I left I went to the gas station and I got so many compliments about how pretty I looked and I knew it was because Shanna turned me into a goddess! I even have had reactions to dye before so she even did a test on me so we can know if I am allergic to the color before I get my hair colored before my wedding at my next appointment. I got highlights by Riley late October I kept telling myself it was the ash color I choose for my blonde highlights not showing up but then I remember her specific words saying" how I lighten up fairly easy", mind you I've always had a blonde tone previous blonde highlights. Less than 2 months top of my head is back dark I can see the brass over blonde. I looked it up and it says over toned. And she did charge me an extra 60 for extra toner on top of the already 40. My hair has been breaking off extremely bad since coloring. I'll just try at home purple shampoo . I'm already doing hair repair mask to help my hair from breaking off how it is..
