This is a super cute concept except the city is clearly neglecting it. The once yellow bricks look a gross, tired, dingy brown with only faintest hint of yellow beneath.
It leads between the park and the Oz museum in the center of town. If it were cleaned and kept up, this would probably be a more frequented path that tourists and locals enjoyed. However, at current, it just looks like a forgotten about alley way.
At a bare minimum, the surrounding businesses should be volunteering to keep it kept up, but clearly there is a massive lack of sense of community in this respect. No desire to help one another and the place they call home look less forgotten about. But I suppose people these days will say they pay their taxes and they expect the city to do it.
Disappointed honestly. It would be such a simple job for local residents or businesses to clean up and even easier to maintain. But alas they don't...
