The kids who work here are super friendly. I would love for this place to justify their prices by being a great little destination spot. But alas… There’s a science to ice cream, but I don’t think Bird’s has studied it. Their ice cream is rarely frozen solid; it is mostly flavorless; the color of some flavors is very off-putting; the fat separates and results in graininess with a greasy mouth feel. We’ve been twice - same experience both times. Pictured is the mint Oreo - you can see the separation of the fat. The dank color is odd in something that should look appealing. Hopefully they will experiment with techniques and improve! Two stars because their help is really very nice.

Wow. I am lost of words with the fantastic taste of their coffee ice cream. I was passing through and just out of a whim decided to try this place. Didn't know what to expect from a small town place. I personally live in an area with many creameries and have to say this is one of the best coffee ice creams I have ever had. The flavor and texture was perfect and I can tell that a lot of passion was Put into making each batch. Do yourself a favor and try this ice cream stop. The service was also top notch and super friendly. Next time I am passing through I will have to stop again.

We found this great little locally made/owned ā€œhomemade ice creamā€ shop while playing baseball in the area. The proprietor was working and super friendly. He makes all the ice cream from scratch! Several flavors to choose from, which included your basics and some adventurous flavors. I split my cup with two, to try a couple options. The Mango Chamoy was very refreshing & delicious! It’s fruity and sweet with a little kick, but not overpowering. The chocolate hit the spot as well. My son had the cookies and cream, which was also fantastic!

If you’re ever traveling along Route 99, make sure to stop by this quaint, down-to-earth ice cream shop. This place is a delightful throwback to simpler times, offering incredible homemade ice cream that is simply out of this world.

The moment you step inside, you’re greeted by a warm, friendly atmosphere that instantly makes you feel at home. The dĆ©cor is charmingly rustic, with cozy seating and nostalgic touches that give the place a unique, welcoming vibe.

But the real star of the show is the ice cream. Each flavor is crafted with care and attention to detail, resulting in a creamy, rich texture that is nothing short of perfection.

Not only is the ice cream phenomenal, but the service is also top-notch. The owner is always eager to help you choose the perfect flavor. Their passion for what they do shines through in every interaction.

This ice cream shop is a must-stop if you’re on Route 99. It’s the perfect place to take a break, enjoy a delicious treat, and soak in the charming, small-town atmosphere. Highly...

This place was awesome! We were in town for the Wizard of Oz museum and stopped in here. They were out of a couple flavors but had replaced them with a peanut butter & jam flavor. I’m not a peanut butter guy, I’m definitely not a peanut butter ice cream guy, but this flavor…..mind blown! It was soooooo good! Everything was home made, even the jam he used in it. My son got the same as me, my wife got an affogato, my daughter got cookies and cream and my friends got chocolate and a chocolate shake.Everyone was thoroughly impressed! If you’re in the area and don’t stop in, you’re doing yourself...
