There’s a science to ice cream, but I don’t think Bird’s has studied it.
Their ice cream is rarely frozen solid; it is mostly flavorless; the color of some flavors is very off-putting; the fat separates and results in graininess with a greasy mouth feel. We’ve been twice - same experience both times.
Pictured is the mint Oreo - you can see the separation of the fat. The dank color is odd in something that should look appealing.
Hopefully they will experiment with techniques and improve!

Read moreThis place was awesome! We were in town for the Wizard of Oz museum and stopped in here. They were out of a couple flavors but had replaced them with a peanut butter & jam flavor. I’m not a peanut butter guy, I’m definitely not a peanut butter ice cream guy, but this flavor…..mind blown! It was soooooo good! Everything was home made, even the jam he used in it. My son got the same as me, my wife got an affogato, my daughter got cookies and cream and my friends got chocolate and a chocolate shake.Everyone was thoroughly impressed!
