People are full of excuses and rarely step up to apologize and offer to fix the problem and for that I dont normally leave reviews. In 5his case I'll make the exception. Purchased a fridge to replace one that had gone out that morning. I only had an hour for lunch and they couldnt deliver that quickly so I offered to pick it up and put it in myself. I asked how much they would give me for my old fridge and was told $30 (STILL HAVE NOT RECIEVED THAT $30) so I confirmed with the person that everything worked, bought the fridge, and brought it home. Upon installing the fridge I found the icemaker and water dispenser were not working. I brought my old fridge back and let them know and was told someone would be out later on. I arranged to be off work costing me time and money only to have no one show up and no call. I stopped in the next day after leave several unreturned messages and managed to get someone out on my lunch break to look at the fridge. After 2 weeks of being told the parts would be in in a couple days (not a big deal, things happen) I had to stop in and ask to find the parts had been there for a couple days, NO CALL. I set an appointment for 10:00 today, yet again taking time off work costing me time and money, and around 11:00 still had not seen the repair guy. I drove to the store to be told they had a warranty issue 5hat came up (MINE IS ALSO A WARRANTY ISSUE) and a newly sold dishwasher to install before they could get to me. What was, I figured, a couple hours off work has now turned into an all day affair. Things happen and I am more than understanding but if you run a small business and compete on your word that you can and will provide honest customer service then something as simple as a phone call should be easy. And that phone call wouldve kept me from writing this review. It's cheap used appliances and you get what you pay for, that is to be expected. But dont tell people you'll back the product and get upset when they have to continuously bother you to...
Read moreA few months ago I brought my mentally disabled aunt, who happens to be on a fixed income, here to purchase a washer. She quickly found one she loved and we negotiated what I felt was a fair price. We chose to pay the minimal delivery and set up fee because it was so convenient. We also opted to sell them the old washer for 25 bucks or so. By the end of the day she was excitedly giving it a try. It was apparent that the water lines were connected backwards but within moments water began to flood her laundry room. She immediately called me and I of course called Joe at Redo. He agreed to go out there and fix the issues. I later revieve a call from Joe stating that they corrected the lines and the "leaking" was actually a drainage problem because the house was old. I reminded him that the old washer didn't have a drainage problem and the house was just as old then. I told him that we thought it was the hose coming from the washer, it didn't fit properly down in the pipe. He agreed to look again. Again, I recieved a call from joe stating it was definitely that the drain pipe was too old and too small. He told me I needed to call a plummer. We called a plummer. The plummer stated the washer just needed a new hose, that it had nothing to do with our pipes. We purchased a new hose and paid the plummer to put it on. Then we STILL noticed water. More calls, more visits, more weeks of my disabled aunt not being able to do laundry for her three mentally disabled children. FINALLY, to get it over with they agreed to replace the washer. They replaced it with a much older, much smaller, less expensive washer that she wasn't even able to choose for herself. No refund, no compensation. I feel that they only did this because they were dealing with a mentally disabled family. It's sad that my aunt is stuck with a washer that she didn't want, doesn't like, and doesn't look like it will last too long. Buyer beware, these people...
Read moreWORST EXPERIENCE EVER! Called Redo for repairs on dryer and ice maker. Technician came out to assess the problem. Paid $104 for the service call. We were given date and time for them to come back to make the repairs on SIX different DAYS and NEVER SHOWED UP!! They never called to reschedule. My husband sat at home waiting for them all six times. After multiple phone calls , they finally came out a month after the original visit. They charged us $430. After they left, we realized that neither the dryer nor the icemaker were fixed. We called for several days with no response. My husband saw a box they left behind and saw the new dryer parts still in the package. They were never installed! After six weeks from the original service visit we called AGAIN and told them we wanted our money back including the service call fee. We went to the shop and met with the manager the next day. My husband showed him the parts that were never installed. He apologized and gave us the $430 repair fee. We told him we wanted the service call fee also because they never did the work and we were going to have to call someone else. He said he “wasn’t prepared “ to give us more at that time. He said he needed to come get the ice msket they installed that didnt work so he could get a refund from the parts company. He said he would bring the remainder of our money with him. That was almost two weeks ago and we haven’t seen or heard from him. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER WITH A BUSINESS!!! Finally got repairs done SEVEN WEEKS LATER by another company called “Appliance Magic” who did an...
