After reading the reviews today I went against my better judgement and tried this place for lunch. Big big big mistake. I pulled through the drive thru and waited my turn to order. I finally get to the speaker and am asked what I needed. First of all I don't need anything from you. I am the customer. What you need is my money to help stay in business. I ordered the exact same thing I always order at KFC. A 4 piece all white meat. Before I can get my drink order out I'm told to pull around. I said excuse me I need a large tea with that as well. Ok pull around. I then told her I wanted the two side items with my order. Which ones? I always order corn and mashed potatoes. Ok pull around for your total. I wanted to add an extra biscuit to my order but at this point I figured it would be easier to do it at the window. I said thank you. No response. I pull to the window and ask her if she can add an extra biscuit to my order and hand her my card. No greeting no nothing. She hands me my card back, again I say thank you. Crickets. Not a sound. I sat there for 5 minutes waiting silently. She finally hands me my food and yet again I say thank you. Wanna guess what her response was? Not a word. Fine I can deal with rude people. I drive back to my office and open the box with my food in it. Three piece mixed. A breast, thigh, and leg. They got one piece of chicken right and shorted me a piece. I can still deal with it because it's not worth fighting the traffic to go back over there. I see what appears to be my two biscuits, the best part of any KFC meal if you ask me. Wrong. They decided that to save money when someone orders two biscuits it's cheaper to just cut one in half. Two halves equal a whole is what I was taught in elementary school. I'm borderline fuming at this point. Surely they can't mess up mashed potatoes and corn right? WRONG. Someone obviously forgot to glue the lid on the bowls and my corn wanted a play date with the napkins and spork. Spilled all inside the bag. So on top of a rude person being the face of the franchise at the drive up window they can't even get an order right. It's not like they were busy or anything and that ladies and gentlemen should always be your first hint that the place you're pulling into isn't up to par. A busy military town at lunch time and the parking lot is empty. These are the people that give the folks that want $15.00 an hour a bad name. They better stop acting like there isn't a Zaxby's right beside them. They will never see another penny...
Ā Ā Ā Read more...don't get me wrong, costomer service is awesome! The sales associate was very nice( obviously, lol) But more importantly, she was warm, pleasant, patient, accommodating, well mannered and effortlessly executed suggested selling- perfectly. Sigh, well now the not so good review; KENTUCKY FRIED CHICKEN( the way I remember-1970s-1990-92 East Orange N.J) in my opinion is now...gone. I've dined in KFC southeast quite frequently within the last 30+yrs, percentage wise? 30-70...with yesterday's visit assuring me that for the most part KENTUCKY FRIED CHICKEN southeast is"ok"( meaning, not all that great but not all that bad either) WELP,sorry! Yesterday's visit guaranteed any KFC southeast to be a NO TRY ZONE! Yesterday's visit litarally settled solidified and locked in my decision- going from 30% like 70% dislike to a 100% T & P( total and permanent) dislike and ewww! Yuck!! Nasty and DISGUSTING!!!! Coleslaw? consistently delicious, biscuits? Sigh, divine. Fried ocra just as flavorful as I remember. So,why the one star? Yo...well need another frys recipe because this one here...ain't hittin no mo! Excuse my 90s ebonics, to translate: the French Fries that have been a staple of the"KFC" brand for over 50yrs has not endured the the test of time shared by its competitors. Which is the perfect segue to the main entree which is memorably included in its three prong brand name: THE CHICKEN. nothing extravagant, nothing voluminous or even special; just two orders of a 3 wing/ biscuit meal( w/ frie & ocra) I get home( oh,I chose the drive thru option btw) excited about my 11 herbs and spices original recipe wings, with its iconic and legendary mouth watering melt right off the bone with every anticipated bite but instead I got...small, chewy, gummy, tough- hard pieces! I had to literally take a few seconds of chewing to "try" and "detect" at least a hint of one...at least one herb & spice! Only one?! Instead I got...garbage! Trash! It was like I said earlier, " disgusting!" Relax, this isn't a negative or bad review, it's just simply a "not so good/ favorable" review. Oh,let me be clear this review isn't necessarily against the store as opposed to some of the middle Georgia KENTUCKY FRIED CHICKEN locales in the region. Does this end my childhood fave chicken joint? We'll see after I return to my hometown, until then when it comes to KFC middle Georgia( excluding the GMO controversy,...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI ordered my food from the mobile app, and when I arrived it wasnāt busy, there was one guy sitting down at the table and maybe 1 car in the drive thru. I stood for about 7 minutes before someone came up to the register. And she didnāt say anything and was trying to get the screen to come up on the register with her ridiculously long nails so all you could hear was her nails hitting the screen. When she finally opened it up, she just looked at me without saying one word (no greeting, may I help you, absolutely nothing) so I proceeded to say āHi, I placed a mobile orderā and I gave her my name, she kept on with her nails and the screen then she asked to see my name, I showed her the order and spelled my name for her. She walked off and came back with the order and handed me the bag, still without saying anything. I said āthank you, have a good dayā and left. I get home and I had everything, but the pot pie was in the bag up and down beside the chicken. I opened up the pot pie and it looks terrible. Needless to say I donāt think Iāll be ordering from here anymore because the pot pie looks awful and the chicken was soggy. This pot pie is ridiculous and Iām pretty sure itās been sitting under a light all day continuously cooking. Iām sorry but Iād never serve this pot pie to anyone because it should have been thrown out. But instead I paid my hard earned money to have dinner for Motherās Day and this is what I got. Need a few grown people working at that location not a bunch of young ones who donāt care about what they are serving or how itās served. Highly...
