The employees who work at the main cash counter are efficient and nice. But the employees who work at the meat and fish counter are so rude, inefficient and slow. They keep customers waiting for no reason. I went to the store today with my mom and there was a huge line at the meat and fish counter. The two employees who work at that counter were not there. Me and my mom kept waiting at the counter for 10 minutes and then we learned that the employees have gone to lunch. How can they just go to lunch abruptly, keeping the customers waiting? That's so rude and disrespectful to the customers. So, me and my mom decided rather than waiting for the employees to come back from their lunch, we better shop for other stuffs and then come back to the meat and fish counter. After we returned to that counter, we saw the two employees came back and they got down to doing their jobs. My mom kept calling one of the employees but he kept ignoring us. They have a bell at the counter. So I thought i better push the bell to grab his attention. I kept pushing the bell but he was busy cutting meat. There was also another employee who was doing nothing but he didn't even respond to the bell. So i stopped pushing the bell after 2-3 attempts. And then the employee who was busy cutting meat came up to me and said "Sir, you should not have pushed the bell and distracted me. It's very risky. I could have cut my fingers. we have to be extremely careful while cutting meat with that machine." He was ignoring us from the beginning and then he made me feel like it was my fault that i pushed the bell. How am i supposed to make him listen to me then? Also, one of the employees over there has a hard time hearing and comprehending what people are saying to him. Avoid going to that meat and fish counter if you can! They should replace these 2...
Read moreI had a cool experience here, I love that they increased the products here. Each aisle was organized and presentable. You can definitely tell itâs a mom and pop market and that usually makes for the beat experiences.
There was a young gentleman who assisted us with located hard to find items. He was absolutely respectful and helpful, he also so to it to make sure if we needed anything to let him know. Talk about customer service! Because most of the items were in another language, I appreciate the assistance.
Check out was pretty alright! At first I was little concerned because the man made no eye contact, he was silent, almost stoic, my pops asked a question and he gestured with his hand to swipe his card, it seemed weirdâŚ. He did not want to talk. So I jokingly addressed the elephant In the room and said âI was like⌠how come he isnât speaking to us or looking at us?â To kind of break the ice and see if what I was picking up on was right lol And see if he noticed that we noticed. I laughed and I said to my pops â I like this place Iâm going to leave a review.â His demeanor changed and he said thank you for shipping, hope that you come back! My pops started talking to him and he was much more helpful and educating us on the items by the register.
Moral of the story, I understand we arenât of the religion and or culture, however we are a very diverse and culture oriented family. we try different cuisines daily. I would hate for someone to make us feel Un welcomed for these reasons.
Minus that. It was an overall...
Read moreThe market is practically a mini Walmart with the range of products sold! It had pots, pans, rugs, nail polish, kitchen gadgets, glassware, and food that was American, Indian, Mexican and probably more. There was a nice selection of fresh vegetables and some fruits. There was also a refrigerated section with frozen vegetables, desserts, meals, and more. Milk, bread, butter, ghee, eggs... You name it, they had it (except thyme, lol, I didn't think they would have it, which makes sense, but since they had everything else, and I needed some, I looked đ).
The store was clean and the employees were very helpful. I called before driving out (I live 10 miles away) and the employee was happy to tell me they carry fresh turmeric. When I arrived, he even took me back to where...
