Wanted to purchase a nice birthday gift for our sister, made a selection of a 12 inch ceramic angel, gilded very nicely with shiny gold trimming. asked for a box to put it in,….. no no boxes, they can put some heavy rough shipping paper around it and give us a plastic Kroger bag to take it home. In the whole Hallmark store, not in the back or in front, can’t come up with a box to put a $50 ceramic angel in?? Didn’t make any effort to suggest an alternative, maybe, buy some tall wine or champagne glasses and use the box for the gift angel and use the crystal at home. But. Alas. The young ladies made no effort, just turned away. Maybe this store owner can hook up with the busciemis pizza at Hoover and Martin road and get a deal on some boxes for the customers. The days of customer service are long gone. Doesn’t matter to me now we won’t be going to either of those places...
