PART TWO FOLLOW UP REVIEW: So we finally packed up our cases and moved out of this mall on Saturday, August 26th. Today Carol, the "Manager", called and started off very rude and going off because we pulled our stuff out. She said she had nothing in the systems stating we were leaving and we had to give 30 days notice. First of all, this is my product and I can move it around as I wish. Second of all, we told the other rude gray haired so called manager in July that August would be it for us because there is NO TRAFFIC at this mall and we sell NOTHING!!! We sold $12 in August. Thats pathetic. The mall made us loose a $300 sale last month all over a 20% discount. See Part One of my review to hear about that. Anyway, most staff at this mall are VERY RUDE and VERY UNORGANIZED. They all do not communicate amongst staff or follow their own rules. So when we told the guy last month that we are leaving then I would think he should have had us fill out a release form for the end of August. If the owner of this mall sees this, I would suggest Carol be replace and possibly some of your other staff. Carol, as a smart business woman, you should have tried to "save the sale" as they say rather than calling and being extremely rude which caused Wayne to snap right back at you which then you hung up on him. You would think in your elder years and being in business that you would be better than this. Why not try being nice to your renters and training your staff properly. There is just to much he said she said stuff going on and nothing is documented properly. I still cannot get over that you all have to approve if we mark our own products down. That is ridiculous. Please DO BETTER!!
PART ONE REVIEW: Most staff at this mall are absolutely on some power trip and very rude. As a vendor of this mall, it is very hard to make money here. The traffic volume seems low everytime we go in; therefore, we put 20% off. We told the mall time and time again that we want 20% off and was assured we would have 20% off. So we just got a call from some rude manager guy there stating that we never got approved to have 20% off and they had a buyer for some Intrada Roosters but could not give them the discount. So we lost a sale because these idiots cannot get it together. You should have called us with the customer standing there if you had thought the 20% off was not okay. Its not your decision to make. We were in there reorganizing a couple weeks ago and told a lady we want 20% off so stop taking our signs down. They actually had 20% off on one of our cases and not the other so we were already annoyed that happened. The manager guy told us that we never got 20% approved. Um, yes we did but apparently it was by a regular staff member and not a manger. That is ridiculous. It is my product and if I fricking want to give 20% off then I sure and the hell do not need some wanna be manager to have to approve it. This mall made us lose this sale and lord knows how many more. No wonder we make no money at this mall. I am in other malls and do just fine so something is wrong with Warson Woods Mall. It probably has a lot to do with rude employees. Needless to say we will be leaving this horrible place. We are paying rent just to store our product, nothing moves and now I know why. Shame on the managers at this mall. Perhaps thats why you had several empty cases when we were there last. Please do better because this is very...
Read moreOk so let me start off by saying that this store we have been ins handful of times, there are some great pieces in this store, with that being said it caters to the wealthy only, I’m surprised there isn’t a fee just to use their restroom. But now to the real reason of this review, my wife and I love antiques, garage sales and thrifting. My wife has really wanted a antique booth somewhere, she has great style and we do so much thrifting we get stuff at great deals, so we would be able to pass that on and still make some money while having fun doing our hobby. So today I call to ask if they have any booths, they answer the phone and I say “hi how are you today” I am met with a “can I ask who is calling” not a “good how are you” or “fine how may I help you” I proceeded to ask if any booths were available “no”, “ok is there a waiting list”, “yes a very lengthy one”, “ok how do we go about getting out on it”, “sir you have to come in and fill out a form!!”. With very rude attitude the entire time! I said “since you want to be ignorant don’t worry about it”. Stl has a great market for antiques, the biggest mall is the South County one, there is a few year waiting list for it, and all the other antique malls have the absolute rudest people working in them, I don’t get it at all!! We have considered for years opening our own to run it how we want and this may be the tipping...
Read moreThey have a wide array of items for everyone out there and which is what they're focused on. However, I dont feel like this place is handicapped friendly. I had back surgery 2 weeks ago and a small cart would have been nice to walk with and benches to rest that could hold a person (not antique). As for their restrooms, definitely not made for a handicap or disabled person. There toilets are like sitting on the floor and none of the stalls have bars to assist getting up, luckily my arms are long enough I could rea h the top of the stall on my right side to help pull myself to a standing position. The sinks were just as low as their toilets; I'm not allowed to bend forward to wash my hands so i had to squat down to wash my hands then pull myself up using the sink hoping it didn't come attached from the wall. Yet, they have a huge opening in the restroom that they could have used better for handicap, disabled people or mothers since I noticed no...
