Just had the nastiest meal of my life today 9/6/25 at this Taco Bell on Manchester. I don’t expect gourmet from fast food establishments, but I do expect my order to be reasonably prepared and meet safety standards. The meal was expensive for what it was, and I only ordered 3 tacos and a drink. They weren’t busy (should have taken that as a sign tbh). I waited patiently for my order, wasn’t rude, and went on my way. When I opened the wrappers, everything was wet and thrown together. The tacos were smashed and ingredients were all over the bag. The chicken cantina taco was the worst of the bunch. The meat smelled sour and it was drenched in a weird sauce. I’ve ordered this meal plenty of times at other locations, not supposed to smell or taste like garbage. Took one bite, gagged, and spit it out. Everything was nasty. Obviously never going back, this franchise should be closed or the very least investigated by the St. Louis Health Department. And to the worker who prepared my meal: I know your job probably sucks, been there. But I work hard for my money just like you, and your sloppiness can make people...
Read moreIs it store policy to shut your drive thru down early so you can only do doordash orders? I arrived at 11pm to this location on a Saturday night. Their website says drive thru open until midnight. I along with at least 10 other vehicles that waited in line in front and behind me were very surprised to hear that we all waited at least 15 minutes in a drive thru line that the staff inside the building had decided to shut down and only allow door dash to use. I wondered why one by one as I approached the front of the line the drivers in front of me sped off. So, is it fair to tell your in person customers that you've decided not to cater to them but only to a delivery company that charges a premium? I wonder if management made this poor choice. Either way I don't suggest wasting your time driving there at night and expecting them to hold to their drive thru hours they've posted. Complete...
Read moreWent through drive-thru today (receipt time 1:41 p.m., order # 314341). Ordered 3 bean burritos, easy on the onions, with extra sour cream, and a cup of water. The employee asked if I wanted to give $1 to their scholarship fund and I said ok. My total came to $6.69. I handed the employee at the window $6.75 in cash and should have received $.06 change. I received only a nickel. How do you shortchange someone one of only two coins they're supposed to receive? I didn't want to complain/argue about it so didn't say anything. However, when I parked in the next parking lot two minutes later, opened my bag and checked my order, I found no sour cream on any of the burritos. According to my receipt, that cost $1.35 + $.10 tax. Besides that, the burritos were rubbery and the beans were much cooler than expected and yet somehow very runny. If I could give less than 1...
