I heard two comedians (middle aged white men) from this group and their material was out of touch and offensive, laced with misogynistic and homophobic jokes. Their middle school humor, which might have passed as “funny” in the 80’s, feels outdated and rude in 2023 and actually sets us all back. Comedy is an opportunity to bring people together not to divide us like a Trump rally. One comedian spent his entire time insulting random audience members, leaving people feeling humiliated and bullied, all under the guise of humor.
