Pinnacle Discount Center has a wide variety of TVs. Well, I had a problem with my TV that my family brought for me back in December 2023. It just went out, no picture, no sound, nothing. So I called the manufacturer. They told me because the TV was bought at a TV Discount Center that wasn't on the manufacturer's list. This manufacturer will only replace TVs that are bought at bigger stores like best buy, walmart, and targets or any other store that has a TV department. Since Pinnacle Discount Center wasn't one of those stores they could not help me or send me a new tv. They told me to go back to the store where the TV was bought. So I called Pinnacle Discount Center thinking that they would be more than happy to help me. I was sadly mistaken. It was a very upsetting experience with this place. I was having problems with my phone at the time I called so the salesperson that answered couldn't hear me, because my phone service was going in and out a lot. So I raised my voice a little bit and said can you hear me now, can you hear me? Over and over again. The sales person that answered the phone hung up on me. So I called him back and told him what happened to my TV and of course the phone was going in and out again. He couldn't hear me. So again I just raised my voice a little, mind you, so he can hear me. But again he thought I was yelling at him. When I wasn't trying to. So he said to me, if you are going to yell at me I'm going to hang up on you and that's just what he did, hung up on me again. I wasn't trying to argue with him. I was very upset that he hung up on me. That's it. I wasn't angry at all . The phone was going in and out I raised my voice just a little bit so he can understand me and he hung up on me. No patience whatsoever. So I called back again and ask to speak to the manager of the store. When the manager came on the phone he sounded very frustrated and a little angry with me before he even heard me explain my side of the story. Doug was very frustrated. I got so upset and nervous because this guy just lost it with me over the phone this guy Doug the manager. He made me even more upset and nervous. All I was doing was trying to explain to him what happened in my own words. And he did everything possible to stop me from explaining. Doug just didn't want to hear it. But that's okay, I'm not mad at him. I guess he's doing his job. I guess Doug got mad because I did tell him that the salesperson that hung up on me twice should be fired. Maybe that's what did it to Doug, I don't know. But anyway, all this was a big and I mean big misunderstanding. The manager Doug did not have any patience for a customer. So he told me to bring the TV in and he would exchange it since the manufacturer couldn't help me. 4 days later I brought the TV in to Pinnacle Discount Center. I thought by this time everything would be all done and over with and everything has calmed down. But no, Doug started talking to me about what happened 4 days earlier. I didn't say a word. I did not want to go back there and start an argument about what happened earlier. But I did keep my cool and just let Doug get it all out, so he could feel better. Read moreMy experience at Pinnacle was flawless. I had gone in with no clue what to expect, and the staff was incredibly helpful. They explained the difference between both the open box and closed box options, they were not pushy or trying to sell me anything in particular and were very helpful in their explanations. Each of the open box TVs have a card with the flaws of each of them held and were graded based on their condition. I ended up going with a new TV and it came with a FREE smaller lower end TV and a spin of the wheel, the employee who was helping me was actually cheering me on as I spun the wheel and I ended up winning 10% off. Staff gave a demonstration on how to take the TV out of the box with caution with emphasis on protecting the screen. They even brought the TVs to our car and placed them in for us. I bought a tv here in August, and a month later, there was a big line going through the middle of the tv. On the sales slip, it says there's a 180 day warranty, so I felt comfortable that they would take care of it. I just droped it off, and they are telling me a technician needs to look at it and it could take 10 days for them to get back to me?!?!? No where on the receipt does it say the warranty is a repair warranty. What am I supposed to do for 10 days? If I had bought this at Best Buy, they would have just swapped it out.
