ALDI — Local services in Washington Township

I have definitely made the switch from our normal grocery store and Walmart, to Aldi!! Their prices are lower than Walmart or grocery stores. Our just opened within the last year and we've been shopping here ever since. Organic beef, ground lamb and all their other meats are fresh (I used to work at a butcher shop), like amazingly fresh. They have a great assortment of items that have been imported from other countries, Germany especially. They also dedicate an aisle for non-food items and you can find EVERYTHING in that aisle, like pet products, cook ware, slippers, clothing, makeup, stands and furniture, utensils, and so much more!

If you do check out Aldi for the first time, make sure to bring a quarter to release their cart, which you get back once you return the cart. Also, I recommend buying their reusable bags or bring your own reusable bags. They do sell brown...

I recently visited the ALDI at Wayne Heights Mall in Waynesboro, PA, and I’m beyond impressed! This store is a gem for anyone looking to save on groceries without sacrificing quality. I love their selection of fresh produce, meats, and organic items at unbeatable prices—seriously, where else can you fill your cart for so little?

I like Aldi and shop there regularly, but this review concerns my last two experiences with their Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, location. Specifically their cashiers. I used a cashier to check out my previous two visits, and both times, they threw raw chicken on top of my fresh vegetables and fruits. I quickly grabbed the chicken. Both times, they looked at me confused when I did. This leads me to believe they have no food handling training because cross-contaminating raw chicken with fresh vegetables and fruits is a big no-no. I am disappointed with the employees at this location. Now, I have to alter my recipes and cook the fruits and vegetables that she threw the raw...
