I recently visited Autozone Auto Parts to purchase engine oil, and while there were some positive aspects of my experience, a few shortcomings left me feeling unsatisfied.
The store offered a variety of oil options, which was great for those with gasoline engines. However, their selection of diesel engine oil was surprisingly limited. As a diesel vehicle owner, I found this lack of options frustrating and somewhat inconvenient, as I had to settle for a less-preferred brand.
On a positive note, the staff at Autozone Auto Parts were friendlier than those I've encountered at Advance Auto Parts. Their helpful attitude and willingness to assist customers were much appreciated. However, the store appeared to be understaffed, which led to slow service and longer wait times. This issue was particularly evident when several customers required assistance simultaneously.
Another area of concern was the credit card machine, which seemed to malfunction frequently. During my visit, I had to attempt my transaction multiple times before it finally went through. This technical issue not only slowed down the checkout process but also created a sense of frustration among customers waiting in line.
In conclusion, my experience at Autozone Auto Parts was a mixed bag. While the friendly staff was a definite plus, the limited diesel engine oil selection, understaffing, and malfunctioning credit card machine detracted from the overall experience. I hope that management will address these issues in the future to provide a more satisfying shopping experience for all customers. Until then, it might be worthwhile to explore other auto parts stores in the area, especially for those with specific needs or...
Read moreIt's not a bad store. But certain customer service managers need not to be so rude or they maybe need to move back to North Carolina. I noticed the vehicle that he was looking up wasn't mine but in the family of SUV. I worked for Auto Zone for 5 yrs so I know that sometimes some people parts are a lil different from certain models even location could vary. Do I asked a question if it mattered that it wasn't my vehicle. In return he looked at me and said " look up your own parts since you trying to challenge me on everything you asked me to look up.” and he walked away. Went into the office. Now mind you I asked for a slave cylinder for my dually which was $64. That I replaced couple years ago with a new clutch. So he looked up my warranty to try and find the slave cylinder which I appreciate. We couldn't find it which I told him that I thought it only had a 2 yr warranty that it wasn't probably in there. He said to me that "he didn't even see my clutch in the warranty system and asked if I even bought it from them." We scrolled back through after I said I seen the NU # for my clutch that he didn't see. After I showed it to him was when things started to go south. So instead of making a minimum of $100 sale. I'll take my business elsewhere or if I need to go back in I'll just deal with a different employee. This isnt the first time he was rude. I felt with him on a Jetta that was shutting off periodically, some times consecutively. I asked for a crank sensor and he told me it wasn't the crank sensor. That it was either my battery or alternator. Alternator put out 14 volts and the battery maintained 12 volts under load. Glad I didn't buy what he...
