DC Insider Tours — Local services in Washington

My husband and I and some friends decided to try out DC Insider Tours for their electric bike tour of DC. I've never ridden an electric bike, but I loved the idea of not having to put a lot of energy into moving myself around DC in an efficient way. Ha! At first I was a little nervous, but the bikes ended up being SO much fun - I didn't want the tour to end! My husband was like a big kid on the bike as he learned to navigate DC in a whole new way. Bo and Becca took us to places in DC we'd never been to, even as residents of DC, and places we'd seen before, but where we were able to gain a new found appreciation of given the knowledge and passion that they have for this wonderful city! They truly love what they do and enjoy sharing their love for DC with others. I highly recommend taking a tour with Becca and Bo and if you want to try something new/different while not exerting a whole lot of energy - try the electric bikes! These would be great for couples, families with older kids, and anyone who wants to zip around the city to see a lot and not spend the time of walking the whole city or just wants to try something new. Seeing the national mall and the Capitol at night were incredible! Thanks...

FANTASTIC electric bike tour! 3 & 1/2 hours of pure fun! Bo & Tim took us all around the city of DC on electric bikes! This was the best day of our whole trip! We saw all the monuments & parks, Georgetown waterfront, Capitol Hill, the White House & so much more than we ever could have seen on foot or by car. Bo gave us a wealth of historical background & told us many interesting stories. He was enthusiastic, well studied, & brilliant! He even showed us photos of the original DC as we stopped at each place! It was fasinating to learn how DC grew into the beautiful city it is today. Our 17 year old had a blast & learned so much at the same time! My recommendation is that you take this tour on the first day of your visit to DC & then you will know exactly where you want to explore further & where you don't need to waste your time! The next time I come to DC, I plan to take a nighttime tour with these Guys! The bikes are easy & fun, & the sites are beautiful! We avoided lots of the crowds, too. Money well spent!...

This tour was ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!!! My husband, myself, and a girlfriend took the electric bike tour at night w/Bo! We had so much fun and learned lots of cool and interesting information about Washington DC! We enjoyed seeing all the monuments, The United States Capitol, and The Whitehouse all at night. The weather was perfect and Bo was an encyclopedia of information. He answered most, if not all, of our questions before we even asked them. The cool thing is he even had stories and information that would have been little known to most. Bonds genuinely a super nice guy and you knew he really loves sharing DC and all it has to offer with others. I would 10/10 recommend this tour to anyone going to DC!!! (Side note: Before this, I had not been on a bike since I was a kid and i was a little nervous about being able to balance the bike again. Don't worry...it really does all come back to you!
