This is a nice metro station. I have used it multiple times and was satisfied with my experience each time. This station has multiple entries for different streets. One entrance is the National Mall or the other one is between the two Department of Agriculture buildings. I used both entrances, both were convenient. This station is a transfer point to the blue, orange, and silver lines trains. I give this metro station five stars and make sure you like if this was helpful

Quite chaotic during spring time vacation / holiday goers. I was here during cherry blossom peak and it was a mad house. The staff was herding people through the entry gates and exit gates like cattle! But it all kept flowing so they were doing something right. Look at the huge crowds of people waiting to get on the metro in my photos! Station seemed clean considering how much foot traffic it had. Photos as of March 2019.

This station, in particular, is a decent WMATA station, close in proximity to that of several of the Smithsonian museums oriented in Washington D.C., and is a good overall station for most tourists coming into Washington D.C. to get off at. Unfortunately, this station is not all that immaculate, as it is evidentially not upkept well as seen from that of other reviews that I have read regarding this particular station.

Last train of the day left early. Really?! We arrived on the platform one minute before it was scheduled to leave and the metro worker told us it had just left. We had planned to be there 20 minutes before departure, but a series of unfortunate events slowed us down - including the metro elevators being hard to locate (across the street from the escalator) and when we got there they weren't working so we had to go back across the street AGAIN. Only added a couple of minutes to our trek, but would've made the difference in us being able to catch the train. The last train of the day should NEVER...

Visited DC with my cousins from Westminster, Md. Rode the line in and the connections were easy to maneuver. I liked the self-serve ticket machine although it was a little difficult figure which ticket to get. You have to take your time and read the screen. Study the stations first so you know where you are going and where you are returning to. Anyway, amazing that this network of trains tunnels underneath the massive buildings going through the heart of DC. We had a great time. It is good to travel with someone who knows the...
