Back in 2020 when the pandemic hit Sprowls came to the rescue to replace appliances in our home, so I decided to go back when another appliance broke in our home. When I went to purchase my appliance, the staff there seemed to lack the confidence to make a decision and and had to run everything past the owner. When my husband and I spoke with the owner, we asked for a military discount and the owner refused to even honor my veteran husband with a discount and had a smart comment, "everyone gets a discount; I have the best prices." Even though he was rude and insulting to us we decided to purchase the appliance anyway. Prior our leaving the store, the owner told me he would call me the day before and give me a time of delivery. We heard nothing from him. So I decided to call on the date of my delivery to ask when my appliance would be delivered and explained that he was supposed to call me the day before. He became terse with me on the phone. He refused to accommodate my delivery and he told me I was rude and that "your delivery doesn't look like it will happen before noon and I don't know what to tell you." I called my husband and asked him to speak with the owner. My husband did and the owner got smart with him on the phone as well and told my husband, "I'll do whatever makes you happy, whatever that may be." My husband took his rude comment as that he didn't want our business. So I went and got my refund. You would think that when you pay thousands of dollars to help a small business they could accommodate your delivery.
I'm not sure if this company got to big for its customers but I will not be going back to deal with them again. They are rude and are unwilling to support our veterans. We bought a dishwasher to replace the one we purchased from them around 20 years ago! It was still working but we decided it was time for a new one. My wife loves it! And so do I. Unbelievably quiet. The other thing is they spend time with you answering questions without pressure to buy. The instillation was done by a local plumber who knows what he’s doing. He spent extra time to make certain that it was installed perfectly. Then we received a Thank You card! Try getting all of this from the big box stores that treat you like a number. Got a Frigidaire 10,000 btu unit with a 1yr warranty at reasonable price. Staff were kind and helpful.
