This taco place is awesome!
Food: THE TACOS ARE AMAZING. Like seriously, delicious. I got an asada taco and the meat was well done and seasoned nicely. The pico de gallo and salsa verde were good and freshly made. 10/10 for the food.
Owners: This is a small owned taco place run by a lovely couple. We spent a bit of time talking to the wife and she was super kind. She told us that her husband hand cuts the tacos and they make their own seasonings! Definitely start up a conversation with them if you have the time!
Atmosphere: Everything was super clean and well organized. It is, undoubtedly, one of the nicest food trucks that I have ever been to. They have super cute signs about what a taco is and how to eat it.
** During the week, they close at 7 pm so they recommend people ordering before or by 6:30-45 pm to order.
** During the weekend, they close at 10 pm so they recommend people ordering before or by 9:30-9:45 pm.
Overall, this is a great taco place and I highly recommend it if you are in the mood for an authentic and high...
Read moreAbout the Taco Place: This taco place, located close to Washington, PA, resides in the outskirts of town, offering a tranquil setting with limited traffic. It's a small taco truck that adds to its unique charm, though it's worth noting that they warm up tortillas from Walmart outside on a grill.
About the Food: The tacos here are prepared with care, as all the meats are hand-cut and cooked in-house. I sampled a variety, including pollo, asada, barbacoa, pastor, and carnitas. Among them, the asada stood out as a favorite. The sauces, a crucial part of the taco experience, were truly amazing and added a nice dimension to the meal.
Despite the simplicity and limited setting, the food quality and flavorful sauces elevate this taco place. For its dedication to hand-crafted meats and tasty sauces, it deserves a solid...
Read moreThis place knocks it out of the park with the food, but they’re never at the place at their posted hours. Which really sucks because not only are they good tacos for Washington, PA, but they’re good on the level of Pittsburgh tacos, maybe even better than that. If you’re not going to be there at your posted hours, at the very least put up a sign or something to let people know when you’ll be back.
Edit: i decided today to revise my review, because the tacos i had were just absolutely incredible. The barbacoa tacos gave me an endorphin rush. It doesn’t matter that much if your hours are consistent if you make food that good. Although it would be nice if they started posting online the days that they’re not going to be in.
I would still suggest calling ahead to make sure...
