Really NASTY pharmacy employee. I'm so excited. I just picked up my last prescription I will EVER purchase from this Walgreens. When you call you will get a pharmacist who will not let you finish a sentence after she says what can i do for you..she will then talk over top of you throughout trying to talk to her. All in the nastiest tone ever. Amazing sentence structure and outstanding communication skills. Like others I have read on their review page, I also found you will not be given accurate information as to when you can really pick up your medicine. And theyre standard go to answer is well its not here. I recently witnessed a man asking the woman behind the counter to plz just talk to my Dr office..they are literally waiting for call to get his blood pressure meds refilled and she said no and walked away. He was asking her to do it because the pharmacy said it wasnt there and the dr office said it had been sent days ago. He was dumbfounded and just walked out. I imagine to go home to change pharmacies. This is not a favor you are doing the people who come to this store to get medicines needed. Some of us actually do have heart conditions, blood pressure, diabetes and so on. Your JOB is to provide. If this woman is this angry doing it, Im sure someone has an open position in the back where you do not have to interact with people. ALSO if you continue with all this rage your going to need the very medicines you hassle everyone about picking up now. WALGREENS..this is the face of your company. I will share my story with everyone I know and eventually all will move on to better service companies such as Amazon. I'm sure they're working on getting into pharmacy distribution since they are currently tackling grocery. No one should feel attacked by using your service and it's happening at this location. Do not be put off by only a few writing on your reviews..you can count on it...theyre are many out there. All I have to do is say Walgreens and you should see the universal reaction. Finally, do not blow this off because 1 person spoke rudely several times to me and my family, I left once before for this same reason. Decided perhaps it was a fluke and tried again only to find out I was indeed correct...
Read moreFor the pharmacy: Absolutely impossible and unacceptable service. I get 2 RX every month. I am ALWAYS told that there are no refills and I have to call my MD. The app will update that RX in progress. Typically that goes to an update that one of the meds is on back order and will arrive a few days later (mind you, I’m generally out of medication by this time). App will update that meds are ready to pick up - get to the counter and the clerk tells you that you don’t have any refills and you have to call the doctors office. Sent away again. Doctors office gets frustrated because they called meds in within the past week already. Go back to counter - clerk tells you she can’t help you and you have to get RX called in. App still indicated you now have 2 RX ready because the back order has been corrected. NOT ON TIME have I picked up medication both on the same day and in time to not go without my medication. More typical is NO less than 4 trips EVER to deal with it before someone who knows what they are doing meets you at the counter and tells you that the medication has been ready for pick up for days. NEVER waste your time calling the pharmacy. EVER. You will be on hold for approximately 25 minutes and then someone will pick up the phone and hang up on you. Over and over again. I work for hospice and call in RX for patients all day long. And these same problems occur all day. I have to call RX in for patients 2 and 3 times before they are processed. Comfort medications for end of life - and the RX is just ignored or erased. I have had to drive to the pharmacy and go to the counter to discuss these issues on behalf of patients waiting for pain or symptom relief meds. Calling the store the whole time - sitting on hold for my 25 minutes and then being hung up on. Over and over until I arrive in person. It is a joke. Avoid if you can. Unacceptable that I have to delay my medical care by several days because of these things. Several days each month. So over the 5 months dealing with this - I’ve lost nearly a whole month to gaps between refills. Shameful. Or it should be if anyone cared enough...
Read moreRudest people i've Ever met in a Pharmacy. I don't even waste my time Ever writing a review on a business, but this is the Worst i've ever been treated! I was treated like some kind of drug addict. I have 2 different doctors i see because i Had Pancreatic Cancer and Survived it! (i use to have several more doctors, and Was on several stronger medications, That i am No Longer On) So anyway, They both wrote for a similar type of medicine. (It was just for Anxiety, but the first medicine didn't work for me. And at 46yo, i've never had this particular type of medicine before).. The second doctor knew about the first doctor writing for a similar medication. (i not only told him about it, but this type of medication is recorded in some kind of data bank, that doctors pull up to see what you've had filled recently, Before they write for a medication that's even the least bit Controlled.) Without me saying anything, he already knew What i had filled, When it was filled and how Many pills i had left.. He told me to Stop taking the first and instead to take what he gave me. Which is what i did. The issue is that Walgreens Pharmacy told me that he didn't know about the first medication, that i "went behind the first doctors back and that both doctors were unaware of each others Rx.s". They Actually said that Accusation to my face! The Doctors BOTH knew about the other's Rx's ! I had to go back to the doctor's office and tell the nurse what happened because Walgreens wouldn't give me my Rx back. She only took a couple min.'s to fix the situation. She said that i wasn't the only one to have problems, like this, with Walgreens Pharmacy. She called them and canceled the Rx and then called Oneal's Pharmacy and gave the Rx to them over the phone. Only took a couple min's. And by the time i got to Oneal's Pharmacy from just across town, my medicine was Ready! It took No Time at all. Will definitely STAY with O'Neal's Drug Store (Tayloe's Hospital...
