Brownie Bakery — Restaurant in Washington

If I could give this place a zero, I would. The old man that owns or works for this place, whoever he is, is extremely rude and nasty. My mother went in here to buy some pastries and politely asked, "Do you make all these yourself?", which was meant as a compliment because they looked nice. His response was to snap at her and ask who she thought made them in a nasty tone and raised voice. Then she proceeded to explain that she only asked because they looked good and he had a large selection, and he again was extremely nasty and yelled, "what's with all of the questions?" then proceeded to tell her she must not be from around here because he hadn't seen her in there before. My mother is from Little Washington. Terrible customer service. If you're so unhappy with your life because all you've accomplished is making pies in podunk Little Washington, thats on you. My wife and kids LOVED the red velvet cupcake. I don't know one pastry from another but I will be making this a regular part of my daily routine,if only to say hi.

Made my third trip in a week, 4th if count the trip my wife made in order to surprise me. While I have yet to test the entire menu, it is on my list. Food so far has been very tasty - it is probably not healthy (I am not a dietian), but dang! it's delicious.

My experience with the owner has been completely pleasant. He's polite to the family and to me. When I ask a question, I get the direct answer. I appreciate the no bs approach. To shamelessly use a movie line.... "I'll be back!" to this...

He was terrible to my wife he was so rude she wanted to order a simple plain cake for her birthday and she was going to decorate it herself to make it look like a crystal geode cake and I gave her $300 to buy different desserts for her really big 30th birthday party and before she could even ask him he hung up the phone on her I think it's pretty clear if you read through all of his reviews the type of person he is he only has a little bit of good reviews and the rest of them are bad and they all say the same thing terrible terrible terrible attitude very rude and nasty needless to say we ordered a cake somewhere else and got a lot of desserts from them they were very pleased with the amount of money we...
