Close and convenient. Friendly service. Update 1/30/2020: Hey John! It's Josh. Really want to thank you again. I called John (just found out his name today, shook hands when I entered) a few mins before closing time and said I would be there in 6 minutes and asked if he could wait for me. Told him he'd recognize me when he saw me. I was assured he'd wait for me no problem. John was sitting (not standing) behind the register when i walked in and greeted me with "You made it". I smiled and introduced myself. We both grinned as he's seen me many times. As we shook hands i told him I'd write him a good review. Told him I just happen to be one of those people that takes the time out to do it. We spoke on the topic of Google reviews and how I really enjoy when a business takes the time to respond to it's reviews as I leave many. I could tell he genuinely tries to please his customers and we both agreed how you just can't please everyone but i can tell he really tries by how he spoke. Was a very pleasant conversation and he seems to be a swell guy. Glad the whole thing went down. I Google his store to leave a review and not only did i find i have (as I mentioned I leave many)but that he responded as well! Only confirming that he was sincere in what he was saying when we spoke. He wasn't aware it was me who had called or left a review as my picture isn't me nor is it my name. He genuinely is a good businessman and cares if his customers are happy with his service. I certainly am John and I hope others can take the time to appreciate the fact that though you see several different customers everyday, you consider each one's opinion of your business. Their selection continues to grow, and the new owners are always happy to help in every way imaginable. Even went as far to change the price of one of my favorite items when I showed them the competitors regular price. (Picture on phone is GREAT verification) Upon inquiry of a large 1.75L bottle vs 750ml of another favorite, he lowered the price of the large to reflect the quantity discount - the advantage of buying the bigger bottle. Only once have I not found what i was looking for, and that was due to a friend with very particular tastes was visiting and we could not find a very specific liquor (2 other stores did not carry it either.)
