Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Waterloo

At 5pm I set up a delivery pre-order for 7pm. We had a large event and I specifically picked 7pm because I would have the time to receive the order. At 7:10 I call, wait on hold for 10 minutes, and find out that the pizza isn't even done cooking, and it's at least a 10 minute drive from the store to my location. So this order that should have arrived at 7 won't get there until at least 7:40. The line gets disconnected, I have to call back, wait on hold another 5 minutes before I can cancel the order because I don't have time to stand and wait for it any longer. A pre-order should be treated like an appointment, not run in the queue with all the orders that came in at 6:45. Also, when there's a pre-order, maybe give a call when you know you are absolutely not getting it done. We arrange those things for reasons. You've lost my business for the foreseeable future.

And since I'm bothering to write this review . . . several times we've had delivery to our home where the drivers have called from their cars for us to come out to them to get the pizza. Never in my life had I seen such...

The stuffed crust was So GOOD!! PJs crust and cheese is just softer/better. Better ingredients, better pizza. It's true! 🍕 And, I'm not a pepperoni fan because it can cause heartburn. But PJs pepperoni is better....it's sliced really thin and almost gets crunchy, and it must be less fatty/spicy because I DON'T get heartburn from it. They have a great tasting sauce, & they aren't skimpy with it. I don't have to ask for extra sauce with PJs. I do with all other...
