I never do reviews and I love to support local businesses but this one I will not and let me tell you why. When I first went into this store I was so excited. I loved this store, but it was when I went back and had My daughter and Son with me that it went all bad for me. My kids was smelling the soaps to ask me if I liked the smell of them. They are right there for people to smell. The owner rolled her eyes at me and then she came up and told my kids to not touch everything. They are just little kids they were not being naughty. The thing is we even bought the soap. This was also the only thing they touched they were not playing we were looking for a gift.I let it go went back again and she did the same thing to us the second time. Rolled her eyes again. Also you should not go up to someone's kids and speak to them directly . They are small and that could be very scarry to a small child. Why sell things for little kids that they are going to touch. I will never go back to this store again for how we were treated. I will support all the other stores in town that have alway been so great to us....
Read moreWe have been shopping at Ava's since they were a tiny little boutique down main street a little ways from where they are located now. Their larger space has allowed for them to expand the items and brands they carry. It is always exciting to see what new items they have. Ava's is always our go to when we need a gift or feel like spoiling ourselves! Amanda and Ava are super kind and friendly and take time to talk to and get to know their customers. They are very knowledgeable about the goods they sell and always have great recommendations! Their support of even smaller local businesses which they collaborate with shows their true sense of community. If you haven't shopped here before we highly recommend checking it out, they seriously have something...

I had been in Ava's multiple times with my husband and had a normal shopping experience. Recently, I had my husband, son and daughter (8 and 11), and there were multiple people following specifically just us. Each time we would move to another area, 2 or 3 people would follow us. I have heard of this happening to other patrons and that's sad. I understand people steal and you want to protect your business, I've owned a downtown business as well but that puts off paying customers. I will not be returning, and I have always shared with friends with kids not to go there...
