The Towne Cinema — Local services in Watertown

I always love coming here. Sometimes it's a bit chilly but I get an excuse to bring a blanket out in public lol. A few days ago I rode my bike to town. I work at Jimmy Johns and had a few hours to kill. I wanted to see Solo but it had started at 1 and it was already near 1:30. I had also forgotten my bike lock. I went inside and asked how long previews were. They said no one was there so I could go drop my bike off at work and they would hold the movie for me. I was really grateful for that. I got back to the theater at around 2 and enjoyed a good movie by myself lol. Overall really like this movie theater…. Great ticket prices that a family can afford to go to and Best Popcorn EVER. I took away a star becuz the movie times noted on their website was not accurate so got there 15 minutes too late and staff said you can’t always go by the online times! WHAT??? Now a days everything is on line especially when you don’t live in the same town. Also don’t like that not each seat has its own cup holder… Seats small and uncomfortable. Also the incline is bad if someone tall sits in front of u you can’t see over them so had to move to a different row so my son and husband could see over the tall males who sat right in...

We rented a theater here for my brother’s birthday. It was inexpensive and their hospitality was top notch. They personalized the theater name and made several slides wishing him a happy birthday. They also included a decorated table for gifts. They sanitized everything and made sure they entire theater was clean and wore masks. It really put our whole family at ease during a pandemic.
