I really hate to write this because it’s so important to support small businesses, but I was very disappointed in the results of my tailoring. When I made the appointment, I thought I was working with the woman who would be tailoring, but her mother made the alterations. The tension of the machine was entirely wrong, so the stitching was very uneven and unsightly. One of the sleeves was connected upside down, which I had to point out and ask them to fix (to their credit, they fixed it within the next 30 mins). There were also areas along the bottom where the stitching didn’t connect. I was nervous about the seams coming undone and was assured it was gone back over to make sure that didn’t happen. Yet, there’s an area where it’s already coming undone… all this, in addition to the fact it was nearly too long to be wearable. I wore my wedding shoes for the fitting and, after it was measured to floor length, I said I’d like it higher to show my shoes a bit. Not only was it floor length, but I ended up stepping on it multiple times during the ceremony. The extra length also meant there was less discard to work with, so there wasn’t enough extra material to create pleating on the sleeves like I’d hoped for….

I brought in a pair of leather jeans to see if they could alter them for me and they said yes I came back and they cut two slits in were my pockets are supposed to be and completely ruined my Harley Davidson $120 jeans I bought them on sale for $69.99 but they were only willing to give me $15-$60 for them as I purchased them in December, and I do not have the receipt. I am so distraught as it was their mistake and now my jeans are ruined and I don’t know if they can be fixed. I figure the best thing to do as a business owner is to just say no if you can’t...

This place was great for rushed alterations! I had a formal dress that needed alteration in the bodice and shortening the length for the next weekend. And they were able to finish it faster than the expected 4 days needed. They also charged a reasonable price, even for a rushed item! I have had alterations done that were more costly for less work. Also noticed they had very nice quality gowns inside the store to purchase. I wish I would have come here to shop before I ordered a dress online. Good gowns are hard to find in this area....
