I have never written a bad review on anyone, however I was so disappointed this morning that I feel I have to say something. The last few weeks there has been a section of the store that has been blocked off in preparation for the opening day of the Christmas/Holiday sale, which was today. One could see all of the items that were in this section, it was just blocked off by a paper ribbon of sorts, with a sign stating that it will open on Nov.1st. Just inside the section on a shelf was a ceramic light up Christmas tree that was for sale that had been there the whole time, right up until the day before the area was to open. This morning when the doors opened at 9:00 am, I was the 3rd person in the door and went straight to the shelf to purchase the ceramic tree, only to find that it was no longer there. There was a lady/employee next to me so I asked her what happened to it & she told me it had been sold already. When I asked her how it could have been sold since this area had been blocked off & the doors have only been opened for 30 seconds, she then looked at her watch and told me, well someone just bought it 3 minutes ago!!??? She then proceeded to just walk away & leave the area. Wait what??? So in other words, you, the people of St Vincent de Paul, put donated items out on your shelves for 2+ weeks, and advertised this big holiday sale, only to let your employees shop for what they wanted just minutes before the general public could?? If that is your policy to let them pick through first, then why did you have it out for sale in the first place??? In my opinion, this is unprofessional and very wrong. I was so extremely disappointed and frustrated that I just left, and I will no longer shop at your store. It really...

I'm very disappointed at this store and the employees and I feel one star is a little to much . First thing is I have been lied to from this place two times already in two months. Today I bought a sectional that I felt was priced a little to high and they wont work on the price. Anyway they told me time and time again that the sectional was only to years old so I bought it. I told them I would be back in a hour for pick up. Got there to pick it up and it was shortly after noon and no one could load it because the guys were gone and they could not let me load it myself. I had to wait for almost a hour before they showed up. I then get it home and in my house and find a tag that said it was from 2002 that's 17 years old. I'll post pictures of the tag.So I was lied to just to get the sale. Second I bought a table about a month ago that the tag said brand new never used. When I got back to pick it up and got it loaded in my trailer my wife asked about the leaves and the guy said it doesn't come with any and we were told at purchase it did. He said it was damaged and he glued and screwed it together and showed me the horrible work he did on it. I refused to take it and they did give me a refund because I didn't leave the store with it. I dont understand why this place can be honest to there...

I would give no stars if I could. I went to pick up some furniture I purchased with 15 mins to spare before the pickup closed. I couldn't find anyone to help me, I stood inside the pickup area calling hello and can someone help me? I had to go back and forth from the front of the store to the side looking for help and that isn't easy for me because my disabilities. The older man working was completely rude and not helpful. On my second trip back to the warehouse I find a man leaving the side door. I asked him if he could help me, he never stopped or even looked at me, he just answered "it's 4:32 and I'm going home" and something under his breath I couldn't make out. I went back inside the store and asked to speak to the manager and was told by the man behind the register she's not there. I asked if I can have a refund since I wasn't getting ANY cooperation from the employees and was refused that too. I'm very disappointed by the lack of professionalism displayed by the employees and their lack of ability to help or want to help. I will not be shopping...
