Denmar Tavern — Restaurant in Wausau

I was there for wings last night,again was not the same quality.Instead of a dollar per wing ,they said it is 1.75 per wing to eat here or take home.The reason was that she said ( bartender ) that the wings were bigger then normal.She told us that each wing was almost a half pound.LOL I ordered my wings to go.The customers around me said ,they were not extra big ,some were even the size you buy at the store.When I got home and open the containers,what they said was true.I was disappointed to say the least.I took out my digital scale ,I put on 3 wings and still was under a half pound.I figured 7 wings to make a pound at 1.75 a wing that is $ 12.25 a pound.Wausau on the Water ( WOW )Has great smoked wings and they are good size.6 pieces for 10 or 14 for...

Decent prices, good food, and overall a fun crowd, except for that one loudmouth lady that kept soliciting some kind of makeup she sells....Younique I think? She was extremely rude, would not take no for an answer, was cutting other women down, trying to pick fights with other patrons to the point where she got physically aggressive. I'd love to come back but I won't if she's there. I really didn't appreciate her attitude, not did my clients. I almost lost a client because of her being so pushy, constantly interrupting our conversation, forcing her product information on us, etc. I know I'm not the only one who was having issues with her. You're going to lose out on many more customers because...

My dad and I went in for take out fish fry, Sarah the tarbender said it would be out an hr wait, we were ok to sit and wait at the bar. Our food was carried out of the kitchen by her 10 min later and set down next to her till. We continued to time and wait patiently for another 17 min when she brought us the take out order. My dad and I expressed our disappointment with it sitting there so long. Her response was she didn't see it sitting there and was very rude about us bringing it to her attention. We did end up going to another bar for our food. Will not be returning...
