First off, they are a family owned business and each person is SO knowledgeable about the rugs. Their store has a MASSIVE selection! You walk in and there are hundreds and hundreds of rugs. Hemad knew the story and origin behind each rug. Each worker is so friendly too! They are willing to work with you to make you find a rug that you love! I could feel Hemad's passion and love for each piece he showed us! I appreciated how they were very willing to work with us and find a rug that was in our budget too!

Secondly, the service is outstanding! Hemad encouraged me to pick out multiple rugs to bring to my home! Then, they make an appointment to bring all the rugs you selected to your house to try them out and see how they look with the rest of your decor. When they come to your house, they are so hardworking! Hamid and crew move around your furniture in order for you to truly get a feel of how the rug would look in your home. They truly want you to find a rug that you love and you are happy with.

Hemad and Barbie are the greatest ! We first met them after we took our older rug in for a wash. They didn’t only bring it back looking great but they also helped clean up some of the edges that were coming undone. A couple of month later we found ourselves returning for a larger rug, coincidently after falling in love with our friends rugs that also purchased from Oriental Rug Gallery. We walked in and immediately felt comfortable. We were able to look around without feeling pressured or having someone hovering over us. It was nice talking design ideas and budget without feeling overwhelmed. They are very knowledgeable about so many rug types, how they are made, and the art that makes them come to life. They quickly were able to pull out the rugs they felt met our needs. They were on point and gave us plenty of options. The hardest part was picking just one. They were able to deliver the rug that week and gave us a rug mat that we are crazy about and have purchased for every rug in our home now. We recently purchased our first rug from the Oriental Rug Gallery. We had been looking all over for a large 10x14 foot area rug to compliment new furniture and needed a rug to help pull things together. Up to this point, we had assumed an Oriental rug was outside our budget. We were pleasantly surprised to discover a large selection of rugs across all price ranges at both the Whitefish Bay and Wauwatosa locations. We also learned a great deal about fine hand-knotted rugs from Hamid and Amir who took a lot of time answering all our questions. After narrowing our choices, Hamid brought several rugs to our home and unrolled them so we could see exactly how they could be used to tie our room together. Hamid’s suggestions about colors and designs were invaluable. In the end, we were extremely pleased with our choice, the service and the new friends we made at the Oriental Rug Gallery.
