Great place to be a stoner!! Awesome merchandise, stickers, sweatpants, shirts, and cool hemp backpacks. The items in this store I feel are better than the other Weed souvenirs store down the street. I had more fun in this store chatting with the owner and his buddy for a couple hours. I was literally leaving the other store with my huge mungus bag of shwag to make my drive back home which was another 12+ hours travelling, when I realized I needed to take a (financial )hit in this store too or I would think about it too much of I didn't take a few moments to at least look around and see what's there, its just a short walk down the street from the other Weed store and no excuse not to poke my head inside, so I did and another hour and a half later I had bought way more than I needed of Weed shwag but that was cool with me, I am from Mendocino county where it all grows anyway and I needed to pay respect to other folks in the Weed businesses, even if it's an affiliation in name only because they don't sell the devil's lettuce, just shirts, bumper stickers, bottoms and better Weed merch than the other store in my opinion, I had to reach deep and spend money i was supposed to be saving and spent it there and got a sweet deal with an offer from the owner i can't refuse to come back and spend more money at discounted rates there next time I'm passing through. I think the merch in this shop was better than the corny stuff in the other store and the layout was more appealing, the shirts were abundant of all sizes so that made shopping swell! Straight Outta Weed was the brand created by the owner and printed in the format of N.W.A.'s Straight Outta Compton logo. The merch required a double take to read, I liked the subtly of the brand name on the shirts, stickers and hats,it was hella hilarious to me and made very nice gifts to my homies. Also I believe there was a beanie from there that said Weed Police like it was from the Weed Police department, black cap with the white capital letters embroidered on it was subtle,no flashy weed leaves or anything obvious made it a classy item and appealing to me as well. I apologize because I hope I didn't post pics of the other store's merch, or review their merch on this page by accident, I can't remember what I got from where, sorry folks it was a grueling road trip for me when I stopped there so my memory of what I bought from where is very fuzzy, especially a month later from when I visited there to writing this rambling review. And all the stuff I bought got mixed together too so it was extra difficult to remember where it came from. The elevation of the town of Weed is pretty high I think, if I remember correctly, I'd love to stay longer on my next experience there inhaling deep the fresh mountain air and staying high on the legendary mythical Weed breeze that blows through town when the elements line up perfectly and conditions are just right. The legend says the healing vapors of the town are psychedelic to some folks and produces great visions for some lucky people ....
Read moreThe cashier was very rude. My family and I were super excited to find a store that sold t-shirts with funny slogans on them such as, "I love weed", so we could show our friends at home. We came in and instantly went to the t-shirt section of the store to look at the designs. The cashier was talking to another family while we were in the back. The t-shirts were stacked nicely on shelves, so you had to touch them to find the size you would need. Now, my family has the count of 5 people and we each wanted a t-shirt. My dad told us to be careful with the shirts and so we only touched them when necessary. While we were doing this, the cashier decided that it would be a great idea to talk about my family and how we were, "messy and fat" and about how we were, "making more work for him". The cashier was very immature and one of the rudest people I have ever met. Instead of buying something from this store, we ended up going down the street to a more organized place, with a lot more variety, called 'The Weed Store'. The man there was very nice and made us feel very welcome after that...
Read moreEnjoyed the atmosphere and friendliness of the manager and associate. Very professional and a plus was a cute arrangement of souvenirs. With the local printing and plenty to see, it made my trip worth the adventure. I do not smoke anymore, but I do light candles and incense... so I even bought a lighter, some magnets that represented 3 different places that I visited on my trip, a hacky sack, 2 gold viles, and some mints ...because they were so accommodating....and sell simple and unique things and art...I will definitely recommend this as a place to stop to spend your money on buying a...
