I stopped in on sun. July 4, 2021 before heading up to bangor to be with my family. Being a dog groomer and book author for 31 years I was thrilled with this store. The volunteers were helpful and of course maine pleasant. The items are fairly priced and well displayed. I didn't get to go into the upstairs of the store as I was short on time. These people sure do know how to raise funds for their animals. I must have had a good time and spent $40.00 for a great cause. This is a must stop to shop!!!!!!! You can spend alot of time in there. Visited this place last year and then again this year. Love that they have cats - there was this super adorable kitten in the cage that had everyone's attention, it was meowing for attention and seemed to be the friendliest little thing. Too bad we couldn't have played with it! Last year I purchased several things as the prices were quite reasonable. This time around, the prices were quite high, at times quadruple what they were last year, selection was amazing but didn't end up purchasing anything due to high prices. My boyfriend and I stumbled upon this benefit thrift shop this morning. It is the most special store I’ve ever been to!! The sweet cats that are being fostered or are up for adoption here are very well loved and cared for, it felt so good to know that we were supporting such a great cause. There were two floors of extremely fairly priced clothes and items, a bounty of craft supplies and beautiful pieces of art. We picked up a teddy bear dressed as a pumpkin and we love him so much already lol. We will DEFINITELY be back the next time we are in Maine. Thank...
