Twin Beach Country Club — Local services in West Bloomfield Township

I have been a member of Twin Beach for more than 35 years. Everything about the club is first rate from the golf course to the staff to the amenities. It is a wonderful nine hole golf course with separate sets of tees for the front and back nines so it plays like an 18 hole course. There are also some double greens which adds to the variety. The course is always in excellent condition and play moves along at a quick pace. There is a very active ladies' program and junior program. New members are always welcomed with open arms. The camaraderie among the members is wonderful. Everybody pretty much knows most of their fellow members. From the General Manager and Director of Golf to the head golf pro to the chef and servers to the bag room attendants to the golf course superintendent and his staff, everyone is always cheerful, courteous and helpful. If there is ever a problem, it is immediately taken care of. The clubhouse contains a dining room with excellent food and full locker room facilities with showers. It is a great place to hold private parties and the food and beverage manager will make sure that any party is perfect. Through the years my family has held numerous parties there and they have all been wonderful. I've seen behind the scenes, it's not very pretty. OK, not pretty at all. I'm not sure how they've ever passed the health inspection here! I wouldn't recommend you dine at this establishment even if your experience happens to be complimentary! Concerns of food poisoning & complaints that the Cole slaw was causing members to become ill went entirely unaddressed! They do not practice healthy hand washing or other such measures here! They will handle dirty dishes, garbage and other potentially contaminated objects/ items, then without skipping a beat, they turn around and take hot food to guests with those dirty hands! Yuk! They'll eat French fries from off your plate if they feel the urge! There was so much wrong with this place! SAVE YOURSELF THE VIRUS! DON'T EAT HERE!!! I think it's particularly gracious of the staff that they help themselves to a shift drink at the end of the night!...

Twin Beach is a hidden gem... best value for a private golf club in Oakland County on an absolutely beautiful plot of land. The staff is wonderful, the course is well maintained, food is consistently good (served indoors or on our beautiful patio overlooking the course), and the drinks are great! There are golf leagues for all ages and stages. The laid back vibe makes it a great place to introduce your kids to golf, and the reasonable rates for junior members (26+ years old) means you and your family can continue to play together well into the future.
