B&B Hair Co. — Local services in West Bloomfield Township

Mariah is hands down the best hairstylist I've ever had! I have been booking appointments with her for about 10 years now and am never disappointed with the outcome. I thoroughly enjoy that she has her new clients fill out a questionnaire before their first consultation/appointment so that she can understand their hair type, typical maintenance routines, and hair goals. On top of that, she logs any colors, products, and cuts into her tablet after each visit so that the next time you see her, she can easily find your preferences.

Now, let's talk about the salon space itself: B&B Hair Co operates inside of a shared studio space called Salon + Co. Inside this space are individually operating salon owners, each with their own studio and locking door. When you arrive, Mariah will let you in through the locked front door and guide you to her suite. The suite is an inviting and charming space that has a cute little refreshments/snacks bar right as you enter with the salon chair and washing bowl off to the right. It's honestly quite relaxing and peacefully quiet. Plus, everything is kept extremely clean for each new appointment.

I also enjoy that there is absolutely no pressure to hold a conversation whenever in Mariah's chair. If you want to sit and detox with no conversation - done. If you want to bring your laptop and finish up some work - you can. Prefer to silently play games on your phone - go ahead. Or feel free to share the gossip of your life - Mariah will listen and respond as if she's known you for years!!

Her website is easy to navigate and it makes booking an appointment a breeze. I love that everything is digital so that I can quickly make an appointment while doing other tasks in my day. Don't get me wrong, I would definitely call to make an appointment too if that was the only way to, but having the convenience to quickly do it online makes my like easier and probably hers too.

All in all, I will always recommend B&B Hair Co and Mariah any day! I would give higher than a 5 star...

Mariah at B&B is absolutely amazing! I wanted a refresh for my hair for spring and showed her some ideas for subtle highlights that were also low maintenance, which is a must as a busy mom! She took the time for the custom colors and created a beautiful balayage and added layers to freshen everything up! Her skill can be seen in the picture below, but where she also goes above and beyond is in her presence. For anyone that has ever had color or highlights you know the service can take some time, but she never seems rushed, she truly has your full attention, and she provides great conversation in her peaceful suite.
