New to the area, brought in a tin full of hockey inserts and asked whoever was working behind the counter to give them away to young kids or local sports teams who showed interest. Maybe two minutes later he proceeds to sell the entire tin to someone for $10. Your shop, your rules, fair enough. The employee then headed to the back of the shop and played what sounded like Call of Duty while I stood in the store alone for approximately forty minutes or so sorting through cards, no conversation, nothing.
Eventually an older gentleman entered the store, which has an audible bell, and stood around for a few moments before asking me if I worked there. I said I didn't and after a moment the employee came out from the back and very kindly answered his questions. Only to go right back to playing video games in a back room.

Read moreI walked into the store today and saw that they had vintage Pokemon. I was thrilled because I'm trying to collect my favorites. I proceeded to pick up a lot of psyduck cards as he is my favorite Pokemon. I also grabbed a lot of cubone because I wanted to make a full page of him in my binder. I asked the store owner how much is each vintage card and he said I don't know. How about 25 cents each. I grabbed the rest of the cards I wanted it was 30 cards in total he then looked up every single card at the register and told me 20 dollars for the whole lot I was expecting 7 or 8 dollars. Overall a terrible and sketchy business strategy to tell someone a price only to change it at the register. I proceded to look up the card online myself and most of them are going for less than 25 cents each. I would not recommend going to this...
