So if I could give a no stars for te service I definitely would. I went to Mamacitas to be a supporter for my daughter's school PTA. We went in and it seemed a little busy but it was expected. We ordered our food around 5:30 and planned on dine in. We found a table thankfully and was waiting. My kids were getting super antsy and hungry waiting for our food we ordered. Not really looking at the time that had gone by but more looking at the people that were already there getting there orders. So after calming my kids down I looked at the time and saw it had been an hour and fifteen mins since we had ordered our food. I went over to the counter to ask for a time frame. Especially since I saw the people that ordered right after me was getting their food. One of the workers looked at me and said "Oh hunny your the last ones over there to get your order. All the other people are to be served before you." I asked how that was since we had been there the longest. No one that had ordered before us was in the restaurant still. Now the people behind us were getting their food before we were served. I told them I wanted a refund then so that I could actually feed my kids. No one answered me at first but a few mins later the cashier politely said she would give me a refund. Then asked me to take a seat while she does it because she didn't need me at the counter to process it. After I sat down I could see them searching way far back in the orders to find my order that they hadn't even started I might add. Soon after she asked for my name and phone number so she could call me when they could get the refund done for me. She had my info and I never received a call from them that things were all set. I called the next day and had to ask if they gave me my refund for the order. I told the highlights of my story and was told sorry and they did give me the refund. I will never go back there for the simple fact of the disrespect that was shown to my family and I. I will also make sure my extend huge family and friends never go there.
If you end up going there hopefully there isn't alot of orders happening or else you might never be fed after paying for food. Now I have to wait 3-5 days to get back my almost $60 from since I paid with my card. If I was you I would go past that place and drive down west boylston street more to get to this place called Baja. Way better food, prices,...
Read moreThis place is fantastic! The first time I ate here was with a group of 10 other individuals -- the staff was patient, friendly, and accommodating as we all (slowly) decided what we wanted to eat & drink. You can tell from the first bite that everything is authentic and made to order - delicious all around! Meals varied from tacos, empanadas, and salads, to burritos, burrito bowls, etc. We also indulged in their house margaritas and non-alcoholic fountain drinks. Not one complaint out of the entire group. One dish to specifically mention is the asada fries -- absolutely to die for!! The fries are crispy and the toppings pair perfectly.
I have gone back to Mamacitas a few times since my first visit with my coworkers and the food has been just as delicious each time. Highly recommend - I've been telling everyone I know to try this place. Decently priced and much more fresh/authentic than other Mexican restaurants...
Read moreWe went to Mamacitas tonight and it was absolutely delicious! The food was SO fresh , and flavorful . The beef tacos were absolutely amazing, the toppings , pickled onion , jalapeños, fresh lettuce , GUAC (!!! AMAZING GUAC ) were so fresh and the spicy salsa has an amazing kick without having to much heat. CANE Coca Cola in a glass bottle as well ❤️❤️ Truly it was the best Mexican food I have had in this area since I left LA . My son had a beef taco and chicken tenders with fries . He normally isn’t a very big eater and he almost cleaned his plates tonight !! He loved it as well .
The parking was easy , it’s handicapped accessible, the entire restaurant was sparkling clean . It’s a very family friendly restaurant, my son and I had a wonderful time tonight !
Thank you Mamacita’s crew !...
