I was So excited to get an old tattoo I got in honor of my grandfather brought back to life and added too for my upcoming birthday.

I heard Great things about Matt and was excited for his open availability.

I was Upfront and told him I wanted A drawing prior to showing up Saturday. He said no problem. (Appointment scheduled for Saturday. I would Have drawing Wednesday) he sent me a very unimpressive clip art image that I was Not thrilled about. He asked no questions and was upset when I told Him I didnt Like it at all. I proceeded to send photos and what I liked About each. In which he replied he couldn’t keep guessing…. I told Him what flowers I wanted. Colors I wanted And “feel”… HE ASKED ZERO questions. If he had I would Have gladly answered. No guessing needed.

He had already asked me to switch times due to a client wanting my time. So rather than get a tattoo from someone who seems bothered by me and not delivering anything I asked I canceled on the spot. More than 48 hours prior to my appointment. Had we had this conversation like he stayed we would yesterday maybe we could have worked out the kinks or I would Have canceled 72 hrs prior to my appointment…. I asked For my deposit back and he said no. Said he worked for it. Ummm no sir. You copied and pasted clip art and sent it in FB messenger. That sir is not worth $50 in my opinion. Be better.

Finding an artist that will listen/is open to your thoughts and opinions is huge, and isn’t as much of a given in the tattoo industry as you’d think - especially considering it goes on your skin permanently. The other artists at Gray Goat are all so kind and an absolute pleasure to be around. You have options on which styles you prefer with each artist, and Matt I know is willing to do a range of styles which is impressive!

You get your own room to be tattooed in and go over things with the artists - the privacy is great. Prices are beyond fair, and remember when it comes to price - this is permanent!

Gray Goat is a clean shop in a nice location with easy parking and good vibes. I highly recommend. Thanks so much you guys, and I look forward to my next session with yah Matt. Tattooing is one of the most beautiful art forms in my opinion, and Gray Goat gets it....

If you’re considering coming here for your tattoos, please do, you won’t regret it. I have 9 tattoos from a different shop and it doesn’t compare to Gray Goat! i came to get finger tattoos and a large hand tattoo and was blown away from the second I walked in the door! Everyone was exceptionally kind and my amazing artist Matthew sat with me and helped me finalize my design and worked with my ideas. The place was clean as could be, well decorated and comfy! It was my first ever tattoo here and I was blown away, his work is phenomenal and he nailed every tiny detail! He talked with me the entire time and was super chill and it helped relax me during the pain lol.
