Two stars is being pretty generous. Prices are decent enough, but everything else is a one and done. I'll never come back. This place is an old worn out theater with nasty carpet and cobbled together. I'm honestly not sure how it passes code. We ordered two frozen slushes and they were just fluid. No frozen aspect to them. Total garbage. Our movie was in theater 3 which is up stairs in what I'm guessing was once just an overflow balcony to one of the others. Only three balcony rows crammed in so tight your knees are in the seat in front the entire movie. Seriously tight. I literally hurt by the end of the movie. Also, the screennis way too close to the seating that is much wider than the actual screen, so if you have to sit on the ends, you'll be watching a trapazoid movie...which was partically cut off at the bottom despite having enough screen to fill it. Sound balance is horrible. The surround sound is screwed up because of the odd theater size. Honestly the worst cinema experience of my 56yrs. Drive...
Read moreWe did have a bad experience. Power went out with 20 minutes left in the movie. BUT - notice my 5-star rating. This is a historic building, outages happen. We actually had a great experience, AND - we will be back.
Funny thing, when the power went out and the screen went dark, we all (entire audience) thought it was part of the movie, it fit that scene perfectly! Note - we went to our home theater to see the movie again, there is no all-dark scene :-(
The popcorn was great! The only diet soda was Diet Pepsi, but it tasted better than D.P. normally tastes to me.
Even though we had a great time, and accepted our fate (no ending), the theater insisted on giving us vouchers (AKA refund).
This was a great experience, to...
Read moreWe usually try to hit the matinee to save $ for our family of 5. The theater is old, and has character. Theater 1 has some high back chairs that are more comfortable than the other chairs, however, if you sit towards the back, it can be difficult to see over the other high backed chairs in front of you. Standard small town movie theater. The sound could be upgraded and sound better, but I am picky with sound.
Standard movie theater food fare, and prices. Currently, as of 5/4/2024, expect to pay $24 for 2 large popcorns, Two large pops, a small bag of Skittles and a bottled water.
Overall a pleasant experience, and we will continue to come here to...
